Chapter 8 - Wait

Nico's Pov:

"Corin, wake up." I whisper and she shifts slowly.

"Corin.." I say a bit louder and she groans.

"What?" Corin asks sleepy while lifting her head to look at me.

When she looks at me her eyes widen and she blushs.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry." she says quickly and sits up.

"It's okay." I tell her with a smile and sat up too causing her to fall on my lap.

"But..I fell asleep on you." Corin mumbles and then her eyes widen. "While we we're live?!" She asks and I nod with a small chuckle.

"It's fine, really." I tell her and wrap my hands around her waist.

"And besides..it was cute." I add with a smile which makes her blush.

She then gently cups my cheeks and smiles at me.

"You're so beautiful." she mumbles which makes me look down while blushing.

"Girls! Dinner's ready!" Finn yells and we jump a bit.

Corin then gets of me and stands up. She hold her hand out and I take it. She pulls me up and we then walk into the kitchen.

We all sit down at the table and I'm sitting next to Corin.

Lila and Elena keep looking at each other while eating.

Their so in love but too blind to see that the other feels the same.

"Can't you two just finally kiss?" Corin asks which makes me chuckle and them blush.

"Everyone can see that you two are in love." she adds with a smile.

Lila turnes to Elena with a smile and gently cups her face.

She slowly leans in and then places her lips on hers. You can see that both of them are smiling into the kiss which makes me smile too.

I then suddenly feel Corins hand on my thigh which makes me look at her. She smiles at me and I couldn't help but smile too.

I take her hand and intertwined our fingers.

Lila and Elena then pulls away and smile widly at each other.

"You don't know how long I've been wanting to do this." Lila whispers and I smile.

"S-Seriously?"Elena asks and Lila nods.

"For three years." I say and her eyes widen.

"But.." Lila starts and takes Elenas hand. "the waiting was worth it."she says which makes Elena smile.

"You guys are making us feel lonely." Corin says which makes them laugh.

"Just date each other." Lila says while eying me and Corin.

"I take Nico." Ryan says which makes Corin hold onto my hand tighter and glare at him.

"Sorry buddy..but I'm gay." I tell him with a chuckle which makes Corin lose the grib on my hand a bit.

"Well..then just date Corin." Ryan says with a grin.

Corin and I look at each other, blush and then quickly look away.

"I-I don't know if I'm ready for an relationship yet. After my parents died I had a lot of issues."I explain while looking down.

"Hey..we all like you." Finn says which makes me look up. "Maybe some do more." he continue while placing his hand on Corins shoulder which makes her blush.

"But we all love you as a friend. As a family." he adds which made me smile.

"Thanks guys." I says with a smile.

I then look at Corin who looks down at our hands.

"Corin, can I talk to you?" I ask while squeezing her hand.

She just nods and we then stand up and walk into the living room.

"Are you mad because I don't want a relationship yet?" I softly ask.

"What? Why should I be mad? You can date when and whoever you want." she says coldly and walks away from me.

"I don't want anyone. I want you." I tell her and she stops.

"But..I'm not the person you keep in your life. I'm the person you should push away. Because I can't give you everything you want." I continue and Corin turns around.

"You-you like me?" she asks softly and smiles when I nod.

"And I'll never push away." she says while walking towards me. "And you're not pushing me away, okay?" she continues and takes my hands.

"I'm not forcing you to anything but I just want to let you know that I'll wait for you. I'll always be here for you. No matter what." Corin adds which makes me smile.

I then pull her towards me and hugs her tightly. "Just wait for me, okay?" I say and she nods.

We then pull away and I place my hands on her hips. "C-Can I kiss you?" Corin asks shyly and I look down while biting my lip.

"I..I-"

"It's okay, I understand." she cuts me off and I look back up to her.

I lean closer to her and give her a kiss on the cheek before laying my chin on her shoulder.

"Do you wanna go back to the others?" I ask her and Corin humms in response.

I then pulled away and we walked back to the others. "What did you talk about?" Lila asks and I look at Corin.

"Um..I just asked her something.." I respond and Lila raises her eyebrow at me.

"Okay.." she says, not really buying it.

We then continue eating and after that decide to watch a movie.
