I couldn't feel anything anymore. It was like I was dreaming. I was swaying. Was someone carrying me? I tried to open my eyes but couldn't.

"Abbie! You gave me a scare!" The voice was strange. I felt something brush against me. Was it grass? Where was I?

I tried to focus on the voice. It wasn't my father's voice; I would know it in an instant. It wasn't Sam's voice either. I would recognize hers too. Who was carrying me? Who did I scare?

I tried to think, who else knew me as Abbie? I tried waking myself again. I successfully moved my hand, hence breaking my sleep paralysis.

"Oh!" the voice exclaimed. "She's waking up!"

I heard a second voice but couldn't make out what they said. It had a raspy sound to it. It was almost like a snake was trying to speak. I'd never heard a voice like that before. Who was speaking?

I opened my eyes. The light was so bright, it was blinding me. I closed my eyes again, groaning. "Where am I?" I asked. My voice cracked.

The second voice hissed again, and the first voice shushed them. "She isn't dead, but she's not in good health either."

I opened my eyes a bit more, trying to adjust myself to the light above. Why did they have me under a bright light? "Who –" I started to say. I didn't need to talk any further though. I caught the red hair in my sight, knowing immediately.

Castiel's eyes were wet with tears. I reached up to wipe them away. He closed his eyes and flinched. His tears were warm. For some odd reason, I wanted to taste them. I shook off the urge and studied him. His skin was so soft like he recently applied lotion to himself.

"Where am I?" I asked. I looked at the world around me, taking in the small buildings in the distance. I moved my hands across the soft grass. "Castiel, who were you talking to?"

"On the outskirts of a tiny town called Talor." He wrinkled his brow. "What do you mean? I only spoke to you." His face turned whiter.

I scowled. There was obviously no way to get him to tell me, so I let it slide. "So how far are we from Salem?"

Castiel thought for a moment. "About a day or two, I suppose." He shrugged his shoulders.

I started to panic. I was that far away? My hands started to shake, and my heart was racing. Castiel noticed, whispering something under his breath. I felt calmer, but my hands still shook. He reached out for me, grabbing my arms. "Abigail, listen to me. It's going to be okay."

I found it hard to look away from his green eyes. It was like they were pulling me in, but that couldn't be. There was no way that he could be pulling me in with his eyes. That only happened in fairy tales. Or did it?

I felt his breath on me, and I calmed instantly. What was it about him that was so different? I heard the hissing again, and Castiel wrinkled his brow. I put my hand out, "What's wrong?"

"We need to leave. Now."

"Where will we go?" I stood up with him, and he turned away from me. When he turned, I caught a glimpse of something dark behind him. I felt a chill go down my spine. "Castiel, is something wrong?"

He turned back to me, his eyes now a light gold. He blinked and they were back to green. "You're gaining the Sight, aren't you? We must move quickly then."

He touched my arm and for the third time that day, I was left to his trust.
