so virgil was the art teacher. all the sudents favorite teacher. so it was only logical that when they saw the way he interacted with roman their theater/choir teacher, the students shipped them. and so one day patton, the "watch dog"

(at my onld school we had watch dogs which were just dads (patton isn't a dad but is still allowed to be one) that walked around school visiting some classrooms, and going out to recess playing with the kids/ pushing them super high on the swings.)

came into the classroom saying "hello kiddos I need to borrow my strange dark son for a moment" and pulled Virgil out. and so being unsupervised, and seeing that their teacher was talking with the school dad decided to eavesdrop, and so one kid listened and told the class what they heard. which just happened to be, "so verge how are your plans on asking roman out going?" "terrible" and with that they sat down and planned. they asked class emo what music was emo but still romantic. landing on my demons by starset. so when virgil came into class the kids bombarded him their unanomus idea that somehow everyone agreed on it. virgil being terrified out of his mind and not knowing what just happened blindly agreed. so the sudents told him that the next day after school when the choir club meets together/plus the rest of the kids in the art class. virgil was to be on the stage and when roman walked in he started singing, with the sudents as his backup singers
