A/N:

Oi! It's been what, almost 7 months since I last updated this story? Yeah, I know, that's a long ass time. I honestly have no excuse. I know I took a break for a bit too long. It probably won't happen again, but if it does, can someone please tell me so I can know I need to get off my lazy arse to continue writing this? I genuinely do enjoy writing this story, but a lot of the time, I just think I'll be bored writing a new chapter. I have been so wrong every single time. It's fun to write these chapters. So, enjoy this new chapter that kind of starts off some actual story for this book. See you guys in the next chapter, whenever I decide to write that.

As you slowly opened the door to Helen's room, you saw that she was painting something. "What is that?" you asked quietly. "I don't know," Dreamer responded. "It's not like anything I've ever seen before. It's not a demon, definitely not a human." "Hey, Helen?"you asked. She didn't respond. You tried again, "Um...Hello?" This time, even though she still didn't say anything, she quickly scribbled something on a piece of paper. 'This is something that appeared the night before our mansion got burned down,' it read. "Nice," you responded. "But what does it have to do with us?" "That's my question too," Dreamer said. Helen didn't respond. 'Clearly a shy one, eh Dreamer?' you thought. 'That, or she can't speak,' Dreamer replied. 'That's an option. Should we read her mind to see what she's thinking?'(Yes, because you definitely read someone's mind when you want to know what color their hair is)

'Oh, how rude of you!' Dreamer responded. ' You should never intrude upon a lady's thoughts! Their minds' are sacred places! How lewd, etc. Okay, let's do it.' 'Good choice,' you said. 'I really want to say something to him, but...I just can't. Why? Why can't I talk?' were Helen's thoughts. 'Yep, a shy one,' you thought. 'Welp, let's fix that,' Dreamer replied. 'Gotcha.' You approached Helen with a look on your face that said one thing. That look was the ever-so smug, 'If you don't tell me, I'll make you' look.

Helen was clearly getting more and more flustered by the minute, but her mask covered it for the most part. You got Dreamer to help you pin her against the wall. "What is it, Helen~,"you said, teasingly. She attempted to utter out a sentence, but the only thing that came out were stammers of 'Uh' and 'Ah'. "Well, she clearly wants to talk, (Y/N)," Dreamer said. "Just doesn't look like she has the guts to." "Well, that's too bad," you replied. "We'll just have to try pushing it a bit more." "What do you mean by, 'A bit more'?" "You'll see."

Helen's POV

What is this guy doing? Is he crazy? Actually, nevermind. And is this that pink thing that everyone else took away the other day? What's happening? I've never been this flustered before. Why can't I just spit the words out? Wait, why is he smiling? He looks...a bit creepy. The pink thing is doing the same thing. Wait, he's getting closer. What is he doing? Someone, please save me. 'Nice thoughts you got there, Helen,' a voice said. Wait, who said that? 'It's still me.' Wait, he can read my thoughts? 'I sure can.' Okay, this is a lot easier. I'll just think what I couldn't say to you. 'Aw...I won't get to do what I wanted to.' Wait, what did you want to do? 'Nothing,' another voice said. 'He didn't want to do anything. Right, (Y/N)?' 'Um, yeah,' (Y/N) responded. 'I definitely didn't want to do anything.' Was that who I think it was? 'Yep. It's me. The "Pink Thing".'

Back to normal

'Well, that makes this whole process a lot easier,' you thought. 'Yep,' Dreamer responded. 'Now then Helen. What'd you want to tell me about that drawing?' 'Okay,' Helen thought. 'So the...thing...in that drawing is something that I've been working on all day. The night before our mansion burned down, I saw it creeping through the halls. Eventually, it found me, and just said "Run tomorrow". After that, it just sort of crumbled away into ashes.'
