Mira's POV

"Can Operators Mira and Ash come to my office. Immediately." I hear Six say over the loudspeaker. This is gonna be fun. I think to myself. I get up from my bed that I was laying down on and walk to Six's office. I walk in and get greeted by Six. Next to him was Ash, my worst enemy.

"So girls, I have given you 2 more then enough chances. I can't have 2 of the top operators fighting and causing riffs between other operators. So I am giving you 30 minutes right now, to work out your differences, or I'll do something I know you don't want to happen." Harry says.

"And what would that be?" Ash asks.

"Like I said, you don't want to know. But I won't tell you."

"I can't get along with her. I can't. It won't happen." I say.

"Why is that?" Six asks.

"You know why. After Operation Storm Cloud, I can never trust her."

"Forget your argument please. That was 2 years ago."

"That argument will never be forgotten. The scar on my back from her wanting me to hold that stupid room will always be there. I feel the water hit it every time. I shower. Every time."

"I see. Well that leaves me with no choice. You two will be roommates until further notice." Our jaws drop.

"You can't be serious." I say.

"Oh I am. Here are your room keys. Room 317."  He gives us the room keys.

"What about Ryad?" I ask. "He is gonna be alone?"

"I spoke to him about it earlier today. He said he'd move into the FBI Swat room until you solve your problems. Now unless you 2 are dismissed, you should get packing."

TIME SKIP

Ash and I fully packed our stuff and walked into the room. We both stopped in our tracks. There was only one bed. We either had to share, or one of us would show kindness to the other and take the couch.

"Fucking Harry. He is trying way too hard to make us like each other." Ash says.

"You want the bed?" I ask. Ash looks at me, clearly stunned.

"You can't seriously be falling for this. He wants you to show me kindness and vice versa." She says.

"Due to what you might believe, I am not stupid. We just have to fake it until we make it." I respond.

"We are sharing the bed, that is final. I'd rather sleep next to you then have you fail a mission because you slept poorly." She says.

"Whatever you want." I say, and we move our stuff into our separate closets.

TIME SKIP

I walk into the cafeteria and immediately walk over to IQ, Caveira, Ela, and Hibana. "Please help me. I need it badly." I say to them. They look at me very confused. "Six put me in a room with Ash, and we have to share a bed." They all giggle and laugh.

IQ speaks up. "That is why Ash came in all flustered and angry. She took her food and ate silently, then slammed her metal tray on the table and walked out and to the gym to get a workout in." All the girls giggle again.

"This is terrible. I am stuck with her, and Six won't let us switch rooms back. But when I said let's just fake it until we make it, she said no and that we are sharing the bed. It's gonna be so awkward every night." I say.

Ela giggles, a thought popping into her head. "Maybe she likes you so she wants to sleep with you."

"As if." I scoff.

"Well since you like girls, maybe you could, you know, coax her." Hibana says and we all laugh. But they all stop when they see something behind me. I turn around to see Ash standing right behind me.

"What do you want?" I ask, not really caring.

"Well not that I really care, but I am going to bed early. Since we are 'faking it until we make it' I want to know which side of the bed you prefer."

"You choose. I don't have a preference, just stay on your side and we won't have any problems." I say. She nods and walks off.

"Oh you 2 are so fucking by the end of the year." Caveira says, and all the girls erupt into laughter, me turning a deep shade of red.

"Please stop. I don't like her, I despise her. She is the reason I have the scar on my back. She told me to hold some stupid room and the building collapsed there when a bomber detonated in the floor above."

"Mira, we all will never force you to do anything that you don't want, we aren't like that. But please, try and forgive her. She wanted you to succeed in that mission, flanking them by walking up the stair case once they passed by. It was a genius plan foiled because of some dumb bomber." IQ says.

"Every-time I shower, and I feel the water hit my scar, I remember that mission. I should never have been in that room to begin with." I say.

"We understand. Just please, try."

I sigh. "I'll think about it. But for now, wish me luck, it's gonna be super awkward sleeping next to her."

I walk back towards the room, and enter to see a sleeping Ash in the left side of the bed. She certainly left me a bunch of room as she was about to fall off the bed. Screw it, whatever. I think. I walk to her side of the bed, and gently move her more towards the center of the bed. I hop in in my side and quickly fall asleep, our backs facing each other.

I awake to Ash thrashing about on her side of the bed. "No, no not her, it should have been me, it should have been me, she was too good for that." Ash says in her sleep. I try to wake her up, but to no avail. I try the one thing that I never thought I would ever do. I wrap my arms around her and hold her. She tensed up, but soon stops moving. We sit there for 2 minutes before I here her say, "How bad was it this time?"

"It wasn't as bad as mine, but you thrashed around a lot. The only way I could get you to stop was to hold you."

"You get them too?" Ash asks.

"I think we all do, just some don't like talking about it."

"I guess so. I'm sorry for waking you. I'll just move to the couch." Ash says as she tried to get up, but I just grab her hand before she slips away.

"It's fine. It happens to all of us, and if it happens to you I won't be able to help you and vice versa if you are on the couch. Stay." She nods, and crawls back on to her side of the bed, barely staying on to give me a bunch of space. I decide to do something risky. I grab her hips and drag her closer to the center of the bed. She turns to look at me confused. "I want some space, but not the whole bed silly." She giggles.

As we lay there, she must think I fell asleep. I hear her quietly whisper, "Maybe we won't have to fake anything." Before I do fall asleep.
