Chapter 1:  The Beginning of the End.

[Natalies POV] - Unedited*

The sun shined through the large glass windows, which took up most of the wall space, allowing the room to look light and spacious as the sun's ray's were bouncing with joy, off the mirror dividers. I say dividers because the mirrors hide what's behind them. If you weren't ever a student at St. Peter's Collegiate School, then you would've thought they were just mirrors that made the school seem posh and fancy with each decoration screaming Rich. But I guess you already know, that is not the case.

My eyes scanned the room, soaking in every little detail, starting from the bottom and working their way to the top.

The floors were a solid white colour; with today being a very sunny day, the sunlight brought out the glimmers of the hard floor, that you wouldn't have seen before. The walls were painted a shade of nude, which normally would make me scowl at the decorator - which right minded persons puts nude and white together, in, may I remind you, a very dull country called England?

The cieling was the same colour as the floor, a solid white colour. However, the best thing about this room was its interior designs, which might I add is mainly the cieling. It was because in the middle of the solid white there was a large square hole, which went a few inches into the ceiling before there was clear glass, separating us from the one thing we all loved. If I was honest, I'd say you'd be able to escape school through that square, if you were:

A) Athletic and strong, so you could build or climb your way to the top and then smash the glass to escape, or B) Tall and skinny, so you could jump up and headbutt your way out of school. But I'm neither, so just like every other average person, I have to wait a whole seven hours before I can go home.

Don't get me wrong, I love school, but the only reason I get by is because of the rest of the girls - Bravery, Alianna, Emma-Lee and Taira. They make school life fun, when they are around that is. Which is why I'm sulking around, taking in every minor detail of the music room in the wait of my friends, who haven't showed up yet. I can't blame them though, I was the one with a free Period! If I re-winded to the beginning of Year 11, I remember jumping up with joy when I got my new timetable.

I had 7/20 free lessons, where I could do whatever I want. I also had three science, and English lessons a week and an extra-curriculum class, along with my three option classes that I had twice a week. Amazingly the year went by great, except for today. Out of all the days I had to be alone, extremely bored, it was today: the last day of school.

The last day before the summer holidays.

The last day before only having 12 weeks with the girls I've known for three years. And then at the end of the 12 weeks, them three years would be forgotten when we all go our own separate ways. Although, there was one way we would be able to stick together. And I'm planning on telling them, when they show up. But that's when they show up. Oh well, back to admiring my second home: The music room.

There were three doors in total, out of which, two were visible. One was the entrance/exit door which was opposite the wall of windows, or so I call it. The other door, opposite the mirrors and along the wall that had a few computers, behind the teachers L-shaped desk, led to every musicians dream world. And that was the reason why it was guarded by the teachers desk. Behind that creamy gold door was one of the largest rooms in the building. It held a make-shift stage, that had each piece of instrument on it for any band to come in and use. There was all sorts of guitars hung up on the longest wall, with two different types of keyboards coming out of it. Don't worry, the school's really keen on health and safety, so the keyboards were placed in the even-spaced gaps, so no guitar would fall and crack a students head. On the other side there was an equal amount of drums and DJ decks. Separating the sides, there was a red carpet. The room would change every year and the last time I went in there in this week was on Tuesday.
