I was getting ready for bed when my phone rang, it was a strange number, who would call me  at this late hour? I wondered. Perhaps someone could be in danger and needs my help; I thought; so I picked the call.
'Hello, who is on the line?' I asked;

The caller responds;
'Grace, Hi! It's Victor. Sorry I'm calling you at this time. I've been busy all day; the caller adds, in a really sexy voice.

I didn't want him to stop talking but he clearly was mistaking me for some other lucky girl; so I had to interrupt him.

  'Hey, Uhmm!, I think you've got the wrong number, this isn't Grace, it's Cocoa; I told him.

'OH! Really?' I could hear the disappointment in his voice.

'Yes please, I think she gave you a wrong number'

'I guess you're right; I'm so sorry if I bothered you' He further adds It was nice talking to you and he hung up the phone.

So I hung up but, can you imagine the nerve on this man, he didn't even allow me tell him how nice it was for me talk to him too, so I did what every normal lady would do; I texted him via iMessage

'It was nice talking to you' and send!

Then it hit me. What in heaven's name did I just do? During my pep talk on how I may have to change my number now, my phone beeped, a text came in; it was from him

'It was nice talking to you too Cocoa;' it read.

Well, Now balance was restored; I can now carry out my usual routine since the Covid-19 lockdown came to full force; which was, to lock myself in my bathroom, burn out a blunt, surf through Twitter to laugh away my boredom, listen to music,  and last but definitely not my least favorite activity, watch a little porn before I pass out.

I woke up that morning after snoozing my alarm over five times, I really do not get why I still set my alarm if I'm still going to keep snoozing it every time it rings.
I did my usual morning ritual which was to, go through my phone.
This time, unlike the usual texts I get from those thirsty Twitter boys, I saw two messages from last night's strange guy.

First text was at 7:09am.  'I'm sorry I hung up the way I did last night, I was a little bit pissed.'

The second text was at 8:34am. 'Good morning Miss Cocoa.'

There was an unusual smile when I read the texts, I almost replied but I wanted to play hard to get, well, not like he's trying to get me but you know what I mean. So I replied after an hour.

'Good Morning Mr. Victor.'

It didn't take him up to two minutes to reply my text.

'How was your night?' His text read.

Again, I ignored, well this time it wasn't on purpose, I thought I had replied already, but it turned out I didn't hit send.
Soon after, my phone rang.
I recognized the number, it was my dear Mr. Victor number; it's not what you think, I don't have the number memorized already, I just have a good photographic memory.

I allowed my phone ring for a while before I picked up his call.

'You didn't answer me' he spoke; with his sexy bold voice.

I laughed. He was such a funny petty man.

I responded; 'Well, it wasn't my fault, I was busy with some stuff' yes I lied, don't judge me; I tried explaining to him,

'But you read it' he said; probably rolling his eyes wherever he was, knowing fully well that I was lying.
But I thought men knew one of the most important lady rule when it comes to texting, 'do not be in a hurry to reply.' It seemed he wasn't aware;

So I answered; 'I did, but was too busy to reply immediately, I was going to reply after I was done with my busy schedule'
He just said 'Ok' and hung up AGAIN!
He had such a rude manner. I was so pissed, but I decided to let this act slide.

Three Days Later
My day was entirely boring until my phone rang, and guess who was calling; yes it was Mr. Victor calling.
This time I picked up the phone rather too fast like I've been expecting his call. Well, I haven't though, I was just too bored and would do anything for any kind of company.

I picked up the phone and didn't say a word;

'Hi Miss Cocoa' were the words that came out of his sexy lips, I really do hope they're sexy;
There's a way he called my name that entices me.
He asked if I was busy and I said No, obviously I wasn't, he should have noticed with the way I quickly picked up his call.

'You didn't call me all this while?' he asked.

I asked him in return if I was supposed to.

'Well, not really, I just figured you might want to know how your friend was doing' he said.

'Are we friend already?' I knew I was being a bit rude; but that was rather too soon.

'We've known each other for three days' he said.

'But we spoke just once' I responded.

'Okay, I know I'm not going to win this argument...' he blurted out and went silent for about ten seconds.
Then with so much confidence and calmness in his voice,

'Tell me about yourself Miss Cocoa.'
It was a bit weird as to where he calls me Miss Cocoa and not just Cocoa so I asked him why he calls me Miss Cocoa,

'It's Sexy' he quickly answered.

I just laughed, I didn't know what to say after his rather odd compliment.
I told him my name real name, consciously skipped telling him my age, told him where I worked and that was it.

'You done?' he asked;

I nodded like he was there with me. Mm hmm

'Miss Cocoa' he called out my name;

For some reason I didn't respond.
He called out my name again; 'Miss Cocoa'.

'Yea, sorry, I was a little distracted.' I lied, I wasn't, his voice was just too dreamy, I wanted to hear him talk more.

He told me about himself, told me where he stays, how he tried getting the famous Graces' number but seems she didn't feel the need for a guy like him to be her friend. Or perhaps this was just a blessing in disguise on my part, I thought.

We spoke for over three hours, we both kept recharging our phones when our credit ran out, and so we could talk more.

I even skipped my scheduled nap time because of Mysterious Mr. Victor.
We talked like we've known each other for years. No one would have believed we were just two couple of days old strangers.
Its weird yea, but I felt the universe had given me a gift from this covid-19 lockdown.
Now all I'm dreaming of is for it to all end so I can run to my mystery man. Too soon? I know!
Hopefully, it will not end in tears.
