STARING, Namjoon looked at the smaller with a dumbfounded expression. He didn't know how to respond to the statement, watching how the alpha tilted his head to the side, his gaze harsh and pinned onto Namjoon. That's when Namjoon had realized, that maybe this was one of the alphas JooHyun had warned him about. He was confused on what to do, then shook his head and cleared his throat.
"I'll just look for another book, I guess," Namjoon gritted out. It felt weird, he didn't want to give it, but he had to be careful. This guy is dangerous, he looks dangerous. He felt strange giving up so easily like this, but he decided to ignore it. He politely gave the book to the male alpha, giving him a friendly smile. The male looked at him with a weird glint, then Namjoon saw how the man turned his head, a light pink blush on his cheeks.
How cute.
Namjoon turned, rolling his eyes at himself. He cannot believe he just gave away the book without putting up a fight. I guess arguing over something with someone isn't always the answer, Namjoon thought.
"Wait."
Namjoon paused, turning again and looking at the man. He had his arms crossed, looking confident. "I need a favour."
"You don't even know me. You don't my name," Namjoon said like it was obvious– which it was. Yoongi laughed, leaning against the bookcase.
"What's your name then, sweetheart?"
Namjoon avoided his eyes, trying to ignore the petname Yoongi had given him. He hated knowing that he liked it. "...Kim Namjoon."
Yoongi hummed, nodding in amusement. "What a pretty name for a pretty boy."
"What do you want?" Namjoon had hissed, his voice coming out harsher than intended. He liked it though, wanting Yoongi to know he wasn't scared.
Yoongi raised both his eyebrows, but made no comment on his harsh voice. "Well, I was wondering– since you're new and all, how would like for me and two of my other friends to show you around?"
Namjoon would like that, because JooHyun hadn't had time to show him around during school today because she's a busy girl; being the student council. However, he just met Yoongi, how could he trust him?
"I'm good, someone already showed me around," Namjoon had lied. It was smooth and sounded like the truth, he was a good liar which probably isn't something you should be proud of, but who really cares? Yoongi looked at for a while, narrowing his eyes, before nodding his head.
