Getting to know you

Those nice walks through the village
Seeing all those smiling faces
Do you remember why they smiled?

It was a light afternoon, Mix was walking through the village, he looked almost seventeen now.

A girl with pink hair, she was shorter than mix by about a foot, and goggles above her eyes, wearing jeans and a black T-shirt had walked beside Mix, she looked seventeen like Mix.

Mix had looked down at the girl, and gave a smile "It has been a while since you've worn those goggles, I was wondering if you would get a new one or not Kyu." The girl gave him a smirk returning his look "I could say the same about that scarf your always wearing, looks almost 4 years old" she had given a chuckle
Mix felt the light blue scarf, kind of embarrassed "Well my brother made this for me, and its a really nice scarf" he gave a smile back. In return Kyu gave him a half-baked stare "You support your brother too much" she looked back in front of her and smiled, laughing a bit under her breath "its sweet what you do for him."
Mix had looked forward and sheepishly rubbed the back of his head "Well he is my brother, I just want him to be amazing like he is." he looks down, his smile slightly fading "He actually has been taking more lessons with the Elemental Devisor.. I think he wants to go into the war like me.." He tried to smile again but it had gotten difficult to keep it up.

Kyu noticed how Mix looked, knowing he worried from his brother "Heh.. johnny has always wanted to follow in your footsteps.."
The comment didn't really cheer him up anymore than he had already felt "I know.. I'm worried the place he is headed because if that. Those sleepless nights I had spent with the Elemental Devisor.. all that training.. I had hurt myself many times because of how much I trained, the fire I had to use.. it left scars." He felt where his neck would be under the scarf, his eyes seem to be distracted by the thoughts going through his head, he shook himself back to reality and gave a smile again "He really is head strong, reminds me of you when we were younger", Kyu gave a small blush and chuckled slightly "Yea.. I would say the same for you, always training your hardest, and never even had to go to school, just watching from your father and being able to recognize everything you've learned from him".

Before mix could respond they had arrived to the garden they often visited when they needed time away.
