"Sksksk," came the eerie echoes.
Several sets of glowing blue eyes peered between the foliage. Those little eyes looked hopefully at the two female humans that were walking amongst their habitat. They had been dutifully studying...and they knew how to handle females from Earth.
A little one scurries out from hiding carrying a cylindrical object.
"And I oop?" it says with a curious lilt. It holds out the gift to the shorter girl.
The female takes the object and passes her glove over it to drag away the slimy brown sludge. In dirty, stained lettering, it read: Hydro Flask.
