The "L" word?

The room I sit in is very quiet and still, while sitting in self regret and contemplating on what to do next the image of the cute face of Aoba flashed into my head.
"Damn! what should I do now? I think I embarrassed him, maybe I should go and apologize to him."
After mulling it over and over I come to the conclusion of apologizing.
I stand, brush off my kimono, and head toward the door.
I hope he accepts my apology.
Well if I know him which I hope I do, then I think he won't be angry with me.
After passing through the small crowds of people and the buildings of the Residential District I end up at Heibon.
Before stepping in I take a breath, close my eyes, and calm my nerves.
A bell rings in my ear after pushing through the door, Aoba who was caught up with an order didn't take any notice in my presence.
After he puts the phone back on the receiver he looks up to me and goes a bit red.
"Hey Aoba! what's up?"
"K-Koujaku!"
I walk up to the counter and smile down at him.
Oh crap!
He's so cute when he looks up at me like that!
He's so adorable.
I try to ignore his cuteness and continue with what I had planned to say.
"A-Aoba... if what I said earlier... uh... hurt your feelings, or made you feel uncomfortable at all... I'm really sorry."
His eyes widened and his cheeks went even redder.
He looked away and only stayed silent.
"Uh Koujaku. You... Really like girls, right?" he asks me while looking up at me and sorta pouts.
"Uh... well it depends on the person." I look down at him and shyly grin.
He looked surprised at the answer and struggled with his words until-"Koujaku, what if I said 'L-" before he could finish his sentence the phone cuts him off, and he exhales in defeat and grabs the phone.
