~Castiel's POV~
Castiel sat in a park, marveling at all of his father's creations. Warm sunlight bathed his face and people walked by, chatting happily with their friends and families.
Castiel always found humans intriguing. The way they love, hoped, hated, and just, well, felt. He never quite understood much of emotions, being an angel, but he enjoyed seeing it.
Castiel looked around the park. Underneath a tree, a couple were eating together, laughing and smiling while eating their food. Looking the other way, he noticed a striking man staring at him. He stared back, electric blue meeting forest green, until the blonde man winked and smirked, slowly tearing his gaze away. Confused, Castiel continued taking in his surroundings, but always found himself staring back at the man with the bright green eyes. After a couple of minutes of quick glances at each other, the blonde man stood up, walked over, and plopped down next to Castiel.
"So are we just gonna keep staring at each other or are we gonna talk?" he asked. Embarrassed and confused, Castiel looked down, not quite knowing what to say. "Shy? Alright then. How 'bout a name? Mine's Dean." He says, smiling at Cas that made a small, strange twinge in his gut. "My name is Castiel." He replied tensely, not used to talking to many humans. "Castiel? Like the angel?" He inquired. "Yes, just like the angel." Castiel said with a smile and short nod. "Well Cas, how 'bout we get something to eat? I'd like to get to know you better." He asked with a smirk. Cas looked at him, dumbfounded. He'd spent enough time on earth to know that Dean was attempting to ask him on what they call a 'date'. He looked around him, feeling heat rise up into his cheeks, then back at Dean and smiled. "Yes. I think I would very much enjoy that."
Sorry for the fact that this sucks and is an incredibly short chapter! I'm new to this man cut me some slack. ;-; If you have any ideas and/or constructive critisism for the next chapter please feel free to leave it in the comments. Peace out.
