Jungkook and Taehyung has been together for four years now and the younger love his boyfriend with all his heart but he can't say it's the same with Taehyung because he know his boyfriend still deeply in love with his ex-boyfriend. Maybe he is or maybe he is not. But the positive percentage of him still does is more than not.

Jungkook still never understand why Taehyung asked him out in the first place if he keep missing his ex-boyfriend. It's painful living as someone's else shadow. He has tried his best.

The boy still has his photo in his phone and his drawer, in their share apartment and keep looking at it time to time. Maybe not all the time, but keeping his photo is enough to tear Jungkook's heart apart.

Jungkook would cry himself to sleep from almost every night, Taehyung never really acted like he's his boyfriend but Jungkook choose to stay quiet, he love his boyfriend way too much to let him go.

There's a lot of time in these past four years somehow that once in a while Taehyung got so sweet and gave him hope. Only for the younger to fall back down, hurting even more. Adding a new scar to his already ruined heart.

And as day went by his heart keep getting broken, he doesn't know how much longer can he handle this pain. One can only handle so much and Jungkook is only a human. He can't possibly keep going with all the agony in his heart.

Like today, 13th October. It's evening when Taehyung come to him with a cake and say happy birthday, but it's not Jungkook's.

He can only laugh at himself at this point. How pathetic, Jungkook?

Taehyung probably didn't know it's his ex birthday and not his current boyfriend's. But Jungkook know and it hurt.

Jungkook heart hurt so bad but instead of crying in front of him he gave him a fake smile.

Next minute he can feel his heart being stab by hundreds of knives when he open the gift because in the gift box was nothing near what he like nor want, it was his favorite.

"Tae I-..."

"Isn't it what you always wanted Kook?"

"It's not!I'm not him Tae why can't you get it!?" Jungkook has never yell but it's too hard for him to be all happy while his boyfriend keep missing another man that cheated on him.

"What are you saying Jungkook!?"

"I thought by not saying it! by keeping silent and try harder you'll forget him! you'll eventually fall for me but no all you do is remind yourself of him!Why can't you understand he's not the one!?he cheated on you!what am I to you Tae?A rebound!? Please he's not here anymore. Why are you doing this? Why did you even ask me out in the first place?"

"What the fuck is wrong with you? Why are you bringing him up!?Jungkook stop being so childish!" Taehyung yelled back.

"Just leave Tae."Jungkook weakly state, Taehyung was too mad to notice his boyfriend state right now.

Jungkook looked so pale and weak. He's been like this for as long as he can remember but Taehyung has never notice, he has never completed his boyfriend duty.

"It's not like I wanna stay."and he slam the door shut, leaving Jungkook all alone.

Standing there with voided heart. He's tired. He can't do this anymore. Maybe it's time.

They said keep trying is hard.

But for Jungkook, moving on is even harder.

Because giving up something you love so dearly take a lot of courage.

After walking out of the apartment and walk for a bit, Taehyung stop on his track.

Something doesn't feel right, he feel something bad is about to happen and so  he run back to his and Jungkook apartment.

Open the door, what he saw make him widen his eyes in shock.

There laying a pale looking Jungkook with blood running out of his nose and Taehyung was quick to call the ambulance.

While Jungkook was in the surgery room something in Taehyung click. He remember Jungkook state, how pale and lifeless he looked, the way blood keep running out of his nose. It terrified him.

He feel scared, scared that there'd be no one to cook for him, no one to wake him up for work, no one to remind him about what he has to do, no one to help him when he stressed out, no one there for him when he got no one.

Jungkook was always there for him. Giving him warm hug whenever he's stressed. Always a kiss on his cheek before he leave to work with an 'I love you, hyungie.' Even he barely replied with one back.

His favorite strawberry pancakes every Sunday morning, a breakfast in bed. A lot of kisses all over his face as a wake up call with a 'good morning hyungie. I make your favorite.' right after Taehyung would open his eyes. His angelic smile would never faltered even though Taehyung gave him nothing but a short 'hmm' or once in a while a forehand kiss.

Handmade strawberries covered chocolate every valentines because, again it's Taehyung's favorite. He has spent time decorating everything. 'Happy valentines, TaeTae. I love you.' And he still keep showing his bunny teeth smile even all he received is just the same things like every other year. A gift that chosen by Tae's secretary. Gave his boyfriend a peck on his lip as a thank you.

Or Tae favorite chocolate cheesecake that he has learn to bake, on his birthday with a handmade gift every year. 'Happy birthday Taehyungie. I hope all your wishes come true. Love you, hyungie.' Even though he knows one of his boyfriend's wishes is for his ex-boyfriend to come back. Even though he knows if that wish really come true it'd be him who's getting his heart broken.

Those were their relationship days.

Looking back, Taehyung feel like a fool.

He is.

Oh he absolutely is for hurting Jeon Jungkook, a walking angel. How can he even pay for this?

Now sitting in front of Jungkook's ward all the fear is creeping up in his hurting heart.

He's scared of losing Jungkook.

He realized how bad of a boyfriend he has been this past years and he regretted everything. But isn't it too late now?

Now all he wish is for Jungkook to be okay.

Because apparently Jungkook is sick for a very long time now and if Taehyung pay a bit more attention he'd notice how weak Jungkook was at times.

After hours of operation the doctor come out and Taehyung rush to him asking if Jungkook is okay.
