I'm starting from where I left last chapter.
S.A.: Twin Maze
*******
"Fia, Fia, Sofia!" I can hear someone called me. I slowly opened my eyes and I can feel the sun's rays hit my face. Where I am?
"You're having a nightmare?" I looked up and saw my mom on the driver's seat. I'm in the car.
I wouldn't call it a nightmare, though. And I can't call it as a dream, either. It felt so real, that it really happened and that I did experienced it. But how come I don't remember any of it happening.
I waited a while before answering my mom.
"No" I simply answer.
My mom looked at worried evident in her face.
"Are you sure? You've been sweating a lot."
I haven't even noticed it but I was. I just nod at her and smiled.
"You should fix yourself up. We're almost there at your new school."
"Yeah." I said and sat properly. Trying to find my hanky to wipe my sweat.
I just looked outside the window, staring at nothing in particular. I recalled what happened this past few months. My father got promoted, which was good for us. He is now the head surgeon in the hospital that he works at. He got transferred to the main hospital, which means that we're going to move with him. It also means that I am going to transfer school. At first I didn't like the idea because I'm gonna miss my friends at my old school. But I don't really mind now, I mean we can still communicate and can always hang out.
As I looked outside, I noticed tall trees by the side of the road. Are we going in a forest? I thought we're going to my new school.
" We're here." I heard my mom said. I looked in front and there it is the gate to my new school. Huh.
I looked at my mom, not really sure if I should go. She looked at me and said,
"Come on, sweetie. We already talked about this. And besides it's the best school in this place. I'm sure you'll meet new friends here." And smiled at me. Reassuring me. "Call me, I'll pick you up."
I narrowed my eyes at her. I'm not a kid anymore. I'm seventeen, OK.
"Just let me spoil you. And you still haven't have your car, yet." She said suggestively and pouted. I know that my mom cared and love me. But.. OK. I can't really do anything when she's like that.
" You win. Just stop pouting. " I just said. Mom's always been like that, we treated each other like we're sisters. " but this is the last. And when can I have my car?"
"When you're eighteen." She grins.
"Mom!" I growled.
She laughs then said, "maybe next week. Your dad's going to buy you one." She smiled.
"So you're to take me to school for the next days?" I asked. Of course, I can't walk everyday to this school. It's not walking distant and it's kind of like you're in a forest here.
She just laughed and shrugged.
"You're going to be late." She said. She kissed my cheeks and hug me. And practically pushed me of off the car.
"OK, OK. I'll go." I said and got my things. And out the car. I heard my mom said enjoy. I surely will as I stand in front of the gate of my new school.
