3~ Stranger

I am standing a the gate outside. Looking up, I read the sign, Seiren Academy, huh? I wonder what's in there. Well, lets find out.

As I entered in to the campus, a bright light invaded my sight. I adjusted my eyes to the light. Once I can see clearly, I noticed that I still have to walk a kilometer to get to the buildings. Why did my mom just dropped me off on the gate? I doubted that she knew about this extra kilometer. I just sighed.

I started to walk and I just take in the surrounding. There are trees at the side walk. It really felt that I am going to a forest. But a beautiful one. There are also different kinds flowers everywhere. I was so lost that when I looked at my watch I was late for my first period.

Damn. I muttered to my self and started to sprint since I'm more than halfway to the main campus. It's convenient since I wore jeans and sneaker. I still haven't had my uniform yet.

When I arrived, I am panting, out of breath. I just stand at the side of the second gate, that I just noticed now. While resting and trying to catch my breath, I took in what was in front of me. There were a lot of buildings everywhere, but it is  organized in a way that the whole area didn't look crowded. Instead it looked spacious. There's even a football field and all types of courts for different sport. The main structure, which I assume had the classrooms, looked like a modern palace with its white and gold color. But it had an antique air around it. Every building was also painted that way.

I looked at my watch, ugh.  I'm 30 minutes late. And there's no one here. It's quite which I didn't expect for the first day of the school. I just started to walk to the entrance. So this Seiren Academy, huh, one of the prestigious school in this land. Mom said that the students in here are all elites and rich kids. Well we're kind of rich. As I told you my dad is the head surgeon. And my mom is nurse at the same hospital. I transferred in this particular school, even though I hates spoiled brats, mind you we're rich and my parents provides for me, but I'm not a spoiled brat, who take everything for granted. I know my responsibilities, my parents raised me that way. I just agreed to my father because the director of the hospital, who is my father's friend, recommended this school.

I was lost in my thought that I was oblivious to my surrounding. I turned left and someone's coming to me fast.

"Ahhh" we both shout. But before she could stop, she bumped into me.

"Ouch" I got knocked off of my feet and landed on my butt. Luckily I landed on the grass.

"I'm sorry. Are you okay?" She said and offered her hand. I just kept my head down. Like I would forgive you, I mean, who would go around the campus riding a skateboard? She would.

Instead of accepting her hands, a mischievous thought came into me then I snatched her board and ran off without looking back. Haha.

There was silent for a while, then I heard her yelled, "Wait!"

But I kept on running with the board still in my hand until I reached the entrance of the main building.

I entered but noticed that there wasn't any students here. I peeked at some classrooms but there were none. Isn't today the start of class? Whatever. I need to go to the registrars office to get my schedule and locker number.

Did I mention to you that this school is a maze. Well I'm gonna say it. This school is a maze. This building is. I've been walking in circles here, still carrying this board, why did I took it again? Ahhh.

After 30 minutes of walking, I finally saw someone. She's looking for something.

"Hey, can I ask you something?" I said as I approached her.

She looked at me and said, "You already are" Then smiled an innocent one, " but yes, you can."

"I'm just wondering, where the registrars office are?" I asked her, frustrated. My first subject had long ended.

She eyed me, as if critiquing. Yeah, typical highschooler. I also can't help but notice how beautiful she is. She has hazel eyes, which are covered in her thick eyeglasses. Red wavy hair that is tied in a messy bun, it made her looked like a strict professor. With her uniform, white long sleeve jacket with gold stripes decorating it. It hugged her body perfectly showing her curves. I might say that she looked a modern day prince if it wasn't for her skirt that is way to short. I was lost at staring at her that when I looked at her face she's smiling. I think I blushed.

"Well, you go straight then the in the second corner turn right.  Walk straight until the first corner then left. Then double right. Turn left. Straight left...." She just continue on babbling. I raised my eyebrow, what? Then she stopped and smiled. Why does she always smile? She pointed at my back " behind you."

I turned around, yeah right. Why didn't I notice that? I turned around again to thank her but she's gone. Whatever. I just went to the registrars to get my schedule and the like. Once I got it, I quickly searched for my locker. It helps that they included a map for this school. I mean I could get lost here for a day. When I finally found my locker, there were now students in the hall. Where did they come from? And why do I keep asking questions?

I shoved the board inside my locker. No one's gonna look for it anyway, I hope. And went through my day.
