Sakura was sitting across from everyone else, she felt like the black sheep of the family. Her father cold stare was giving her shivers, "did this man even blink?" She thought to herself.

She is an adult a successful adult at that, so why does she have to be treated like a kid she ask herself. The sound of her father clearing his throat snap her out of her thoughts.
"Who is this young man Sakura and do not beat around the bush" he asserted

Sakura could feel her palms getting clammy, she let out a shaky breath and put her head down. She could feel the tension in the atmosphere, she let another shaky breath and ran her fingers through her hair carefully answering her Father question.

"We met at an event 6 weeks ago and just recently started dating," Sakura said with her nails digging into her palms

"Event? So he's a doctor I assume" her father said crossing his arms over his chest
"No," she said slowly lifting her head meeting his cold gaze

"Then what is he?" He ask "He's the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigations, his name is Sasuke Uchiha, " she said

Sakura father let out a breath as he stood from his seat and gazed at his daughter "I want to meet this man sakura, invite him over for dinner this Sunday." he said as he made his was up the stairs for some much needed rest.

Sakura knew better to oppose to her father, she crossed her arms over her chest and slid down in her seat. Her brothers left right behind her father leaving her with her mother, who was leaning back in her chair with a concerning expression across her face.

"Anything else you would like to get off your chest," she asks looking her daughter in the eyes.
Sakura bit her bottom lip as she swirled a strand of hair around her finger, She knew her mom wasn't stupid she was one of the top ob/gyns, most importantly she could use some motherly guidance.

"Aa, first I am going to shower and gather myself and I would feel more at ease if we had this conversation at a massage pollard," she said
" Aa, I'll meet you by the gates in 1 hour" she said

Sakura quickly stood up and made her way up the stairs and into her room for another much needed shower.  Shortly after her hot shower Sakura went into her walk in closet, pick out a pink flap pocket notched collar dress and beige high heels.

She laid her clothes and shoes on her bed and made her way to her vanity,and sat down on her vanity chair. Sakura look at herself in the mirror and couldn't help but to feel so lost.

Not to mention her whole body felt sore and slightly fatigue, she just wanted to curl up in bed and hide away from reality. "What am I doing?" She ask herself  as she started at her reflection  " am I really ready for this next chapter in life" she whispered to herself

Sakura let out a small moan what if her family didn't accept sasuke? What if they disown her and make her leave. Sakura had no problem with leaving,but she would want it to be on her own terms not because her family kick her out!

Sakura shook her head and pushing all the negative thoughts to the back of her mind. She quickly dust on some light makeup and put her soft pink hair in lose curls. She slipped on her dress and heels and gathered her hand bag, and headed out the door to meet her mother who was already at the gate.

She quickly got into the passenger seat of her mother grey rolls-royce sweptail, she greeted her mother and they sped off into the busy street.

The silence in the car made Sakura nervous, she wasn't sure what her mother was thinking or what she may know already. She rolled the window down and closed her eyes as the fresh air swept across her face. Giving her some relief from the current situation, the sound of her mother clearing her throat brought her back to reality.

" How's the Tomoko spa sound? We can get a private room and massage" she explained
"Aa, that's perfect," she said as she continued to look out the window

They made it to the spa and quickly check-in, sakura feet are slightly swollen and sore this foot run felt like heaven. She took a sip of her tea and felt pure pleasure as the warm liquid went down her throat.

After a good hour and a half, her mother ask for privacy so she could speak with her daughter.
Sakura body tensed up once again, she wasn't sure how to form the sentences to explain her situation.
Sakura mother went and sat on the spa bench and patted the spot right next to her, Sakura slowly walked over and sat next to her mother.

"So do you wanna tell me more about this lucky guy"her mom asked
"Well he's a really good guy and he has a good career and reputation " she said
"Is it a serious relationship or something to help time go by?" She asked
"it's serious" she asserted glimpsing towards her mother
"could you see your son being just like him," she asked with a soft yet settle tone

sakura face went pale and her heart was beating through her chest, did her mother already know of her current condition? " no that's impossible," she thought to herself.

Sakura tightly clenched her silk robe and look down to her lap. "Why is this so hard?" She asked herself,
She wasn't breaking any laws or harming anyone.
Having a baby is a blessing and this baby has very successful parents.

Sakura let out a small sigh and relaxed her body, she wasn't about to hide this anymore or feel ashamed by it. If her family couldn't accept her and her life decisions then that's their loss.

Sakura felt a soft hand on top of her own she looked up at her mother, who had this warm smile and softened eyes, that melted her fear and doubts away. Her mother always made it clear no matter the situation she will always be on her side.

Sakura couldn't stop the tears from falling as she shook her head, before she knew it her mother embraced her holding her tight, as she circled her back in a soothing motion. Sakura begin to cry harder as her mother continue to hold her, all the pent up emotions just flooding out.

" it's okay honey" her mother said in a soothing tone
Sakura gently pulled away from her mother and look her in her eyes.
"Your not upset with me?" She asked
"Of course not," she said as she tucked a strain of hair behind Sakura ear " slightly concerned about your father reaction" she also said

Sakura father is very old school and overprotective of his children, this could go in so many different directions. He might like the idea of having a grandchild, or he might flip the whole mansion upside down.

Sakura mother reached over and grab her hand and gave it a gentle squeeze.
" don't worry about him honey me and your brothers will always have your back," she said
"Aa, mom" sakura said with a smile
"how about we get out of here and go do some shopping?" she asked
"That sounds like heaven," sakura said

They gathered their belongings and headed for the mall
