It was early in the morning as the sun emerged from the horizon, saturating the dark night's sky into a shade of royal purple and eventually a burnt orange.

It was so early that the stars from the previous night were still visible, if only slightly. Japan is known as the land of the rising sun and therefore it is a great honor to be the first people on the planet to greet the new day. But for some, it was just a challenge to beat the sun; to rise before it does.

The light greeted the coast to the countryside before eventually settling in a more metropolitan area; Tokyo to be exact. It was one of the largest municipal areas in the world and home to over eight million people.

Yet as most of the country was still enjoying their remaining hours of precious sleep, some were already up and about. One individual in particular made it a habit to be up before the rest of the country.

As he watched the daybreak, he slowly turned around from his balcony and walked back into his room. He strolled right past his door and walked down the hall, passing the pictures that framed the hallway. These images held memories of his childhood, friends, and friends.

He made his way downstairs, to see his older brother Itachi with his face barred in files.
"Asa," he said as he made his way to the coffee machine

"Asa, how did you sleep?" He asks as he glances at the page
"Hn, usual" he answered back as he made his cup of coffee
"Are you sure you don't need to talk to someone?" He inquires as he sips his coffee

"Don't start with me this morning?" he said strolling to the fridge
"I'm only a concerned older brother, no need to be so hateful," he explained
" I'm not, shouldn't we be more concentrated on the unusual murders rather than me." He said searching the fridge for something to eat

"Speaking of murders, we may have a forefront," he announced
Sasuke closed the fridge and walk over to his brother, who passed him an image of their primary suspect.

He possessed brown hair, with a cut running across his face.
He looks to be in his late 40s, Sasuke set the image down.
"His name is tamari we swipe under one of our victim's nails, and his DNA came back 99.99 match," he said glancing at his brother

Sasuke grabs his cup of coffee his, suddenly appetite disappears.
He actually knew the victims, they went to high school together. Even though they did not communicate every day, he deemed them, good allies.

"Any hint on his whereabouts?" He inquire Consuming his coffee
"Aa, he's known to dwell in night clubs.
One of his main spots is called creep nights, we plan to invade it this evening" he said staring back at his flies.

"Aa, I'll see you at work" Sasuke said as he headed back to his room to start getting ready for work.

The morning light cut through the gap in the curtains, giving the room a warm yellow glow. Unfortunately, the path allowed a small beam of the sun to land on the figure that lay in bed.

As the sun moved higher in the sky, you could catch a glimpse of the pink hair that was being highlighted by the sun's rays. The warmth from the beam made the figure shuffle and groan a bit before finally turning over and having the offending light shine right in her face.
