Deaf

So, this is a story that is common. I've just never read something about it. So, Bakugou is going deaf because of his quirk. So, he starts practicing sign language.

*Aizawa's POV*

        I walk into the classroom, surprisingly early. I notice Bakugou is sitting at his desk. He hasn't seemed to notice me yet. He's moving his hands around in weird motions.

        Is he practicing sign language? I wonder. I get into my sleeping bag and quietly watch, trying to catch up on what he's signing.

        My name. Is what he signs first. My name is... He groans in frustration and leans back in his chair. After a minute he sits back up and starts again.

        Still number 1. Is what he signs. My heart breaks a little at that. Not like I fucking care about these dam kids. (Don't fucking lie)

        Is this why he's had trouble listening in class? I wonder. He has been a little distracted and not listening as well lately. I'll have to talk to him later. Maybe get Mic to talk to him. He's already deaf in his left ear so he can help him.

        Suddenly the door slams open and in walks Ashido, Kaminari, Shinso, Kirishima and Sero.

        "Hey Bakubro!" Kirishima yells loudly. I lean down in my sleeping bag and wait until everyone else arrives. Once they do I get out and look at everyone.

        "Alright, everybody here?" I ask. A chorus of "yes" fills the room. I look out at everybody and my eyes land on Bakugou. I look at him a second longer before continuing.

        "Today we're doing sparring." I say, signing along. I keep my gaze to the middle of the room and refuse to look at Bakugou. "1v1. No quirks. I'll be choosing your sparring partner." The class looks confused as to why I'm signing. Until, Kaminari raises his hand.

        "What, Kaminari?" I ask irritably.

        "Why are you waving your hands around why you're speaking?" He asks.

        "I'm not waving my hands around." I speak back, still signing. "It's called sign language. Deaf and mute people use it. Anybody can use it actually."

        "But why are you signing?" He asks.

        None of your fucking business. I sign. Shinso's eyes widen and he starts laughing. The class looks at him confusedly. Bakugou looks at me with wide eyes.

        "W-What did he say?" Kaminari asks.

        "N-Nothing." Shinso says. "I-It doesn't matter."

        "Now, everybody go get changed into your gym clothes." I say and sign.

~During Lunch~

        "You think Bakugou is going deaf?" Hizashi asks me.

        "Yup." I respond.
