~3rd Person POV~

Todoroki Shoto.
Number 3 Hero. Married to Midoriya Izuku, the Number 1 Hero. The two have been married for 7 years.

And over the 7 years, adopted two kids.

Zayla Todoroki. And Ren Todoroki. Zayla is 16. And Ren is 11.

The two came from an abusive home. And with that, came some complications, but even so, the family is loving and amazing. And whenever the two Heroes can find free time, they spend it with their two kids.

Now on this particular stormy night, an argument erupted.

Between Zayla and Shoto.

It was about the way Zayla had been acting with her grades. She would skip classes and when she would go, show up late. The girl didn't want to be a Hero, and that was fine! She went to a normal school and was a normal kid. But she was very rebellious.

"I don't get why this is such a big deal dad!" Zayla yells.

"Zayla--! You failed your last test!" Shoto says back, doing his best to not raise his voice at his daughter.

"And!? It was one test!"

"This 'one test' had a huge affect on your overall grade!"

"I'll bring it up!" She throws her arms up in exasperation.

"How Zayla!? You skip classes, don't pay attention, talk back! You're failing all your classes! If you wanna go anywhere in life, you need to get your grades up!"

"Is something gonna happen to Zayla?" Ren asks Izuku as they sit in the young kids room listening to music to try and drown out the yelling from the two.

A look of horror passes Izuku's face.

"No!" He says. "Shoto would never hurt you guys, okay?" His voice calms and he holds Ren's hand. "He's just..." Izuku pauses. "He just wants your sister to bring her grade up, okay? Nobody's gonna get hurt."

"I don't give a damn about where I'm gonna go in life!" Zayla yells back. "Maybe if you and papa were home more, I wouldn't be like this!"

"Don't put the blame on us young lady." Shoto says.

Zayla glares. "Why? You guys are never home because of 'Hero Work.' So it's technically the same as before! I have to take care of Ren! The only difference being there's no abuse!"

"Seriously!?"

"You have NO idea what it's like to grow up in an abusive home!" She yells. "Your father was the number one Hero! You had the perfect life! You had everything! You never had to fight! You never had to fall asleep to your mother's pleads to stop! You don't know anything!"

Shoto goes stock still.

"Listen to the music." Izuku puts headphones on Ren. "And stay here."
