Chapter 15 Not A Chance

"Blake's pov"

"meet me at the sushi bar, yeah see you" I hung up after giving her the address. my fingers are gonna crossed throughout the conversation I hope it is for the best

"hey stranger" I heard a voice which I matched with Aurora's

"sup Rora, grab a chair," I said sitting upright

"yeah sure," she said sitting down

"thanks for coming I appreciate I tried calling her but it is not going through like..." I said before a voice cut me off

"she blocked you already" she informed sadly

"oh I was expecting that," I said sadly

"would you like to order for something," I said calling on the waitress

"hmm no I just had some cheerios before coming," she said rubbing her stomach with her hands as we burst out into laughter

"yeah right but some drink would do" I insisted

"fine then a drink," she said placing her palm on the table

"hmmm" I sighed as I waited for the waitress to bring  order

"thank you," I said as she sent me some flirtatious look and pointing to some paper she placed by my bottle

"oh" was all I said as she walked past

"her number right?" Rora asked which seems that she noticed the whole sh*t that was going on 

"yeah," I said tearing the paper into pieces

"okay that is too harsh," she said mildly laughing

"yeah, I called y-u-you here beca-ca-use of what happened that day I wanna give my full story and I hope you would h-e-ear me out," I said stammering.

"Okay go on," she said sipping her drink.

"you know how Tessa can be you probably know here better than I do. she never always me to get closer to her" I managed to say as Rora spat out her drink outta surprise.

"are you for real?" she asked with her face lightened with surprise.

"yeah, she complains that I kiss too much and all that," I said looking down sadly.

"Okay I don't blame if she isn't ready for that because of what has happened to her in her past I don't know how she would react if I told you plus we aren't on good terms lately," she said playing with her nails.

"I never knew she had stuff in her past because she never told me bout it," I said still looking down.

"yeah so tell me why you cheated on her even though we are presently cut I still can't let anybody get on her because she is all I got she is my RIDE OR DIE. so just spill" she said as I could see the anger in her eyes.

"Please calm down and bear with me I don't like the way we are having this conversation it is too formal for my liking and it has never been like that you were my first friend apart from Shawn and now I feel like I have lost many things, in fact, everything," I said hoping she feels the same.

"okay am sorry but I would have gone crazy if Pete had done this to me I can't just think it through. now she might go back to her former self which you wouldn't like to see. you weren't in school today that why you didn't know what happened today" she informed.

"well, I saw the video actually," I said so angry with myself.

"okay spill then I would let you know bout her past I am ready to risk it," she said sipping her drink.

"I lost my father when I was twelve and since then I have felt lonely back then he used to be all I wanted but when he was gone I wanted to have everyone so that I won't be lonely I get drunk then have s*x with girls and a lot happened in my former school which got me expelled and now I am here. my mom made me go mad I left the house in anger I got drunk and wasted then a girl approached me I swear I didn't plan on cheating on her I was drunk and I responded foolishly to the girls kiss. I don't even know her name. yeah I know that is very stupid but I am better now because I used to be a drug addict after dad died" I paused to see her reaction.

"wt..." she said with her mouth left hanging.

"okay you are the first person I am telling apart from Shawn," I said.

"why would you keep something like this from her. it is gonna get worse if I tell her this well that is if she always me to talk" she said with a brief sigh.

"Okay let me continue. my mum discovered then she registered me for some rehab in California and I am almost through with my session I have three months left in which I would be leaving by tomorrow" I said looking up to get her reaction.

"waw tomorrow this is happening so fast oh lord why?" she cried loudly.

"that is why I called you here," I said trying to make her relaxed.

"do you still do d-do dr-rugs," she asked as her voice trembled in fear.

"not,  the rehab session as really helped me and I am very sure and I promise I would be outta this shit before I get back," I said hoping she would understand.

"hunnn," she asked confused.

"I mean I would catch out drugs and drunk outta my life before I get back I promise" I paused to make sure she is following me.

"Okay," she said

"great I should have explained all these to Tessa but I couldn't afford to lose her but now I lost her in a harder way I put all my trust in you and I know you would help me, Rora, please I am leaving first thing in the morning," I said pitting myself. 

"Tessa anger issues are uncontrollable but I would do all I can but for now I would think bout it till I am okay with her because she snubbed me because of what you did now she doesn't want anybody talking to her. but I promise to kill you if I lose my best friend" she said seriously.

"ouch that is tough," I said.

"yeah I know" she deadpanned.

"oops, my mum is calling a minute please" she sais walking off.

"I have to go, mum, is worried why I hadn't gotten home and I feel she want s me to do something," she said packing her bag.

"okay see you when I see you and my best regards to Tessa," I said forcing a smile on my face then blow a kiss.

"yeah," she said as she was gone.
