As the cullens and wolves stood waiting for the volturi , Gracie clung to her father as she whispered in his ear " mommy is gonna save us daddy , I just know it " As he smiled at the wise nature of his young child . - - - As the mass volturi force marched out onto the field , Madeleine waited in the forest behind the cullens , and edward read her thoughts " I'm coming , don't tell anyone , I've got a plan " He smirked as he mentioned to bella " Aro is looking for Madeline " As Embry glared into the volturi army as he stood next to edward and edward said " she's here , I can read her thoughts , she told me not to tell anyone but you don't count " He said so quietly that even bella didn't hear . After a few minutes of deathly silence he came away from her and looked between the two girls , for his death would be at the hands of the two standing in front of him . " I gathered some witnesses of my own " Madeline said confidently as two tribal people came out . After he explained that renesmee wouldn't be a danger as he was just like her aro looked to Gracie and back to Madeline . And with that he told his clan to back down and Alice smothered Madeline in a huge hug as she he looked back to them and into Madeline eyes " such a prize " And with that he was gone. Gracie sped over to her mother as she lifted her up and hugged her close as she whispered " I knew you'd save us mommy " As Alice took her back she set off running toward Embry as she got to him and launched herself at him as he caught her and her legs were wrapped around his waist as he smothered kisses all over her and left a passionate one on her lips as Gracie yelled " ewwwww " And the two broke apart laughing as he said " forever ? " And she repeated " forever Embry " As the two held eachother , they were each others lifelines . They brought Gracie into their hug as she sat on her fathers hip again and the family reunited .
