ABEER'S POV
" whaaaaaaaat!! how!when!where! who is this cousin i never knew,how come i never met her."
"that's bcoz we had a big fight in our family, beta i need you understand this was wayy long back when people were not as open minded as we are now."
"ok, can you just say what happened!" the curiosity was killing me.
"ok beta,my brother that is your uncle was in love with a muslim girl and really wanted to marry her and we are an orthodox hindu family and our parents were against it, but my brother really loved her , soo he had noother choice but to leave the house.
our neighbourhood started talking very ill about us which made my dad furious, so he had abandoned my brother and warned us from meeting him,and i couldn't disobey my dad. After few years, he came home with his baby daughter, you were 3 years old back then.. my dad didn't even let him into our house,
and that's when things started getting more worse, he had cut all ties with us and everything had ended on a bad note.
but, later your grandfather had realised his mistake. but, it was too late, he was on his death bed.. he held my hands and cried telling me to try and get back with my brother ,otherwise he will never rest in peace. and now i really wanna mend my relationship with him,but it cannot happen bcoz i know my brother very well. there is no other way to mend this relation until you get married to zaara."
my mother legit had tears in her eyes, It really pained seeing her like that and i was ready to do anything to anything for her, and this was no big deal.
"how do i do this mom, i mean where to start."I ask confused as i had no idea who zaara was and how to approach her.
"alright abeer,she is going to join college tomorrow,I know abt the ragging nonsense in your college,and you better be gentle to her and win her heart... and here is her picture".she hands over the picture to me,... as i take the picture from her i get a wierd adrenaline rush and ohhhhhhhhhh dear lord i am doomed.
"mom. i actually know zaara"i tell mom as i recognise the picture
" u gotta be kidding me", my mom says in surprise.
" yes mom, we had met in an inter school football tournament,and i dont really think she would like me"i say hopelessly.
"ohhhhhh dear lord, what the heck did u do to my poor girl?...dont tell me you bullied her!". my mom asks me in disappointment vivid in her eyes,... "whatever it is,i dont know, you are bringing her home as your wife at any cost, take your time.. and thats it"she says firmly.
"okaayy mom, your wish is my command"... i say with excitement and happiness leaving the living room coz the girl in that picture is none other than my crush who decided to live in my heart since the day i met her.

hii readers i really hope you like the chapter. this just the beginning , i guess its a bit boring for now coz i had to introduce how the story is going.. the upcoming chapters will be definitely interesting i promise.
