When Raquel woke up the next morning it was with a wide smile painted on her lips. Tommy had left around one in the morning, while he tried to seduce her into letting him stay, Ra didn't want to start their relationship that way. He still hadn't technically taken her out, so Raquel wasn't letting Tommy into her bed anytime soon.
The brunette was at her dance studio, she had three two-hour long sessions booked for the day, and Ra already felt ready to pass out. She skipped breakfast, which she was regretting as she sipped on her water, observing the group of students in front of her.
"And, 5, 6, 7, 8. 1,2,3,4...5, and 6, 7, 8."
Raquel called out the numbers, walking through the floor, as she made sure that she caught each student's movement. "Don't lock your knees, Mike. You'll fall like a rock, loosen up." She looked over to her phone, it vibrated against the speaker, and Ra hurried over to it as she instructed her class to sip water.
"Hello?"
"Hey baby, where you at?" Tommy's phone filled the speaker, and Ra let a smile tug at her lips. "I'm teaching a class right now, Tommy." She breathed, and Tommy smiled over the phone, Raquel could hear the sound of traffic as he drove.
"How do you feel about lunch? I can pick you up."
"I would love that, but Tommy, I'm completely booked today."
"Well, shit, girl. You gotta eat. I'll bring some food over to you, no worries." Tommy replied, and Raquel immediately shook her head, trying to deny it. "Tommy, really it's okay-"
"I'll be there in 30 minutes."
The man hung up, and Raquel inhaled deeply in frustration, before looking at the time. Her class would be over in 40 minutes, and her next class wasn't for another hour, that gave her 20 minutes to sit and eat. She sighed, rubbing a hand over her forehead, before turning back to her students.
"Breaks over, let's do this!"
Tommy didn't know what Ra would like, so he got her a burger and fries from the diner, before driving to the studio where they met. He parked his car next to the window, climbing out with a grin as he saw his girl. Raquel stood with a half circle around her, going over some steps with one of the male students, and Tommy watched as she twisted her body slowly while counting out loud.
She was good. Beyond good. And Tommy could tell why she loved it.
Tommy quickly turned the corner to enter the building, stopping at the front desk to ask which room Raquel was in. The receptionist gave him the directions, and Tommy thanked her, walking down the hall where he found Ra's studio on the left hand side. He slowly opened the door, Ester Dean's "Drop it Low" blasted from the speakers, and Tommy stood by the door as he watched Raquel dance.
She stood in the middle of a trio of girls, the rest of the students formed a half circle around them, and everyone was cheering as they danced. Tommy couldn't tear his eyes away from Raquel, she wore a pair of pink leggings with a black cropped top, and she had black sneakers that squeaked against the wooden floor.
