It's the year 2020. Around 8650 years have passed since I, Earth, have had a proper shower. Even though 71% of my surface is covered in water, it is hard to get access to enough for a thorough shower. I'd use ocean waters but marine life would be disturbed, it would anyways be weird if all of a sudden it started raining whales and sharks in Oregon. I can't risk my animals' lives like that; poor things would become oversized sushi. These 8650 years without showering properly have obviously done me no good; the 2358 acre Armillaria ostoyae is proof.
