I'm back!! Mwaha, told you I wouldn't stop for a long time.
A big thank you to all those who were patient, and wrote some really nice stuff to me, it really helped with the rut I was stuck in, and I dedicate this chapter to all of you! But there were a few that were kinda rude, and definitely didn't make me think 'well! I better write a chapter for you!" No, so shame on you ;)
Anyways! This is coming to an end soon, maybe three, four or possibly five more chapters left, who knows, it could be seventeen more chapters... (unlikely but you know)
I was so happy i found a picture of all three people I cast as Jay, Lily and Eric in the side, I thought that was awesome! haha :)Hope you're all happy this is back and leave nice comments! :D
Love you all!“Come on Heirs, you can’t look that bad!” I call into Graces room where both she and Lily were getting ready.
I had managed to convince Lily to come to my dad’s party, although she wasn’t very fond of the idea, and I guess I can’t really blame her, but I hinted I had a surprise for her, which eventually swayed her mind.
“I do, the dress is just too…” Lily struggled to find a word to describe it.
“Just remember whose dress it is you’re wearing before insulting it.” I hear Grace pipe up from inside her room; she had volunteered to get ready with Lily, which I didn’t mind because it gave me time to shower and put on a suit.
“It’s ten past seven, the jet leaves at eight, you have ten more minutes.” I warn, and then go and get a glass of water from the kitchen.
I downed the glass as the door buzzed; it was Eric waiting to be let in.
“Eric’s here!” I called to the girls as I buzzed him in and opened the door.
A minute later Eric walked in wearing his best, and possibly, only black suit, similar to mine although he wore a simple low cut black t shirt underneath whereas I decided to go with the plain dark grey shirt and no tie.
“The girls are taking forever.” I state as he comes to join me on the sofa.
“No surprise there really; they’re girls.” He says as if that explained everything, I just nod in agreement.
“Alright, we’re ready!” Grace laughs as she comes out of her room to stand with us by the sofa, she looks great in her red knee length dress and matching black heels, her hair is pulled back out of her face into a high bun.
“How do I look?” She asks, grinning.
I just smile at her as Eric dived in with compliments.
“Lily?” I call, as she didn’t follow Grace out.
“Alright, I’m coming, just don’t laugh at me!” She warns us.
She shyly comes out of Grace’s room and I have to do a double take; the dress she is wearing is form fitting, long with a slit right to the top of her left thigh, and spaghetti straps, it is black with silver décor, matching the silver heels she had on. She left her hair down in a straight waterfall of chestnut brown.
“You look…” I struggled for words, she looked amazing, stunning – “You look hot, Lils.” Eric stated with a wolf whistle.
I raised my eyebrows at her, and she smirked.
“Let’s go, shall we?” Grace asked, linking her arm through Eric’s; no wonder she didn’t think to invite a date.
“Shall we?” I quote, offering my arm to Lily, who giggles as she takes it.“Jay!” I hear my brother call from the Jet doors. “Hurry up, you’re late!” He scolds, then heads inside the plane.
“By like, two minutes.” I mutter, taking Lily’s hand and heading up the steps into the familiar Jet.
“Hi guys, sit down already.” Ted says as we all make our way inside; he is sat in one of the large jet seats, opposite a pretty blonde I recognize.
“Hey, Jenny, I haven’t seen you in so long.” I grin, giving her a quick one armed hug.
“I know, three years, but I’m back now, for good.” She says with a wink, telling me exactly what I want to know.
Lily and I sit in opposite chairs a little further down the Jet, Eric and Grace sit in the middle.
“Who was that?” Lily asks, feigning curiosity; I could tell she was a little bit jealous.
“Girlfriend number two.” I tease as her mouth drops open. “I’m kidding! That’s Jenny Mulholland, she is an old friend of Teds from college, I’m pretty sure they were dating, but she went travelling, doing a few months’ work in different countries, but now she’s back, and if I’m correct, now works for Grey Enterprises.” I say, noting the wink she had given me; before she left for travelling, she said she would only stay in America if she got a job with my Father, as she knew it was a secure place, if not she would move to England to live with her sister.
“Do you think they’re dating again?” Lily asks and I shrug.
“Maybe, it was a long time ago, and they weren’t together while she was away.” I say.
“How romantic.” Lily smiles, looking over at the two who seemed to be in deep conversation, leaning in towards each other and smiling.
“Because you’re all for romance.” I say sarcastically.
Lily snorts a short laugh. “Same to you, you’ve sat us next to a toilet.” She says, nodding at the bathroom door beside us.
I smirk. “Oh, I did that on purpose; I’ve always wanted to be a part of the mile high club.”
Lily’s mouth falls open, but I can see the small excited spark in her brown eyes.
“We won’t go yet though; I don’t want you looking all roughed up at the party.” I say, leaning back in my seat.
Lily smirks and rubs my leg. “That gives me more reason to be excited for the party to be over with.” She says, once again taking me by surprise.
