Aileen couldn't be sure of what it was that lead her to attend Greendale community college. Unlike the stereotypes, she was neither dumb, lazy, nor going through a middle life crisis. What she was, however, was pregnant, and entirely on her own. She'd found out on prom night that her trophy boyfriend at the time had forgone the condom entirely one night when she was inherently drunk, and while she seriously regretted that night and the entire relationship with him, she couldn't blame the child she'd begun growing.

So, with her books in one arm, and the other laying across her barely noticeable bump, she strode into the college campus, confident she would be able to make something of her time there. She made it through a few classes un-noticed, until she got to Spanish class. That was when a doe-eyed Annie Edison spotted her and decided to introduce herself, despite having been in many of Aileen's classes over the years.

"Hi, Aileen, right? I'm Annie, we went to high school together." The brunette said, a large smile on her face.

"Yeah, we were in Home Ec last year, right?" Aileen responded, remembering her vividly. Annie had gone into rehab for a pill addiction towards the end of the year, so she might not know about Aileen's pregnancy. Aileen figured it would come to light later on, and chose not to say anything to anyone yet.

"Yeah, hey, I heard the teacher for this class is insane, would you like to study with me later? Get a head start on tests and exams." Annie offered.

Aileen would've been a fool to decline Annie's offer; this girl was practically professional when it came to studying. Aileen nodded, and the two exchanged numbers before class started.

At lunch, Aileen found herself unable to eat because of nausea, something new she'd been experiencing lately. She was only around two months into her pregnancy, but so far, she'd been tormented by nausea and morning sickness, which, by the way, wasn't exclusive to mornings.

Aileen made it through her first week at Greendale, although it was on Wednesday that Senor Chang announced they'd have a test on Friday. Of course, Annie and Aileen got together immediately, glad that they had already begun studying, but neither of them was quite grasping the subject.

All too soon, Thursday came, and Aileen spent her day avoiding various smells filling Greendale's halls, including excusing herself from her literacy class to puke. She was extremely anxious over the Spanish test, and her morning sickness had been present all day as well.

At lunch, she managed to keep some food down, simply because Annie became concerned after noticing her barely eat anything the past few days. Then, the two parted ways to head back to their respective classes.

As the day came to an end, and she was ready to head to Annie's locker to meet with her to go study, another spell of nausea hit her, and she ran to the nearest bathroom to throw up. A blonde stepped out from one of the stalls, giving Aileen a look in the mirror. "Are you okay?" She asked.

"Uh, yeah, sorry, must have eaten something bad. I'm Aileen." The ginger girl replied, wiping her mouth as she went to wash her hands and rinse out the awful taste of bile.

"Britta. Hey, you're in my Spanish class, right? I'm heading to a study group right now, in the library, if you'd like to come. This Board-certified tutor is gonna help us." The blonde said, grabbing some paper towel to dry her hands, offering some to Aileen as she turned off the taps.

"Sure, as long as I can bring a friend," Aileen said, then followed Britta out of the bathroom.

"Bring as many as you want, we're just in the library, we've got a table reserved for the night." The pretty blonde said as she walked away.
