Author's Note: Realised when reading back on the old fic that there's weird time differences here and there which don't make sense, so I've retconned when Melody started working in WWE, hope you guys don't mind. There will probably be things wrote differently; for the sake of things making sense and probably more of a view from Randy's side of things, to give him more depth.

"Looking forward to your wedding next week?" Melody asked Amy - otherwise known as Lita to the WWE Universe - with a smirk, as she applied foundation.

"Ah yes, can't wait to get married to such a man like Kane," she replied sarcastically. Her current storyline saw her being forced to marry Kane after Matt Hardy lost against Kane at Summerslam. Not only that but she was also 'pregnant' with Kane's child. WWE storylines never know how to not be strange and twisted most of the times, then again, it is entertainment. "The man of my dreams," Amy added, causing the two of them to start laughing. "Do you mind turning on the tv so we can watch what's happening?"

Without a word Melody turned on the television in the corner of the room, in time to see Randy already in the ring, Evolution's theme blaring and confetti falling as he took in a standing ovation from the crowd at the newly crowned Heavyweight Champion.

"Well doesn't he look snazzy."

The make-up artist glanced away from blending out foundation to glance at the screen, reminding herself of Randy's current attire. He has no business looking that good in a suit. He broke out into a grin before spinning around to the crowd, title held out proudly, kissing it before placing it back onto his shoulder.

Showboating at a maximum, yet with something he had earned respectfully. He had proved that he could roll with some of the greatest wrestlers in the company, and this was their statement, the company's sealing of approval that Randy Orton was a main eventer in the making and for the future to come.

Realising she had been staring at the screen for too long, Melody turned back to her current task, earning a sly smirk from Amy. "I can finish my make-up myself if you want to keep watching..." It earnt an eyeroll from the Canadian. "I don't mind if you want to watch lover boy—"

"Please, not you too. I've already had Trish in my ear about it," Melody grimaced, the reminder of Trish thinking the Legend Killer had taken a liking to her. Melody didn't really talk to any of the other talent besides the women, Edge, Christian and Chris Jerciho - she found some semblance in them three being Canadian, that and she was introduced to them by Trish.

Other than that she stuck to herself, minding her own business.

That was until Randy Orton had approached her for the first time. He hadn't really took notice of her until Raw after Wrestlemania, she had only started working for WWE a couple weeks prior. He helped her carry her kit inside the arena, in all honesty she was quite surprised as they had never crossed paths, and with what she had heard about the Legend Killer's personality she didn't think he was the helping kind.

That day not only had she become acquainted with Randy, he also gave her his number. Yet she didn't message or call him once, she was too shy to. It's not everyday you get given Raw's golden boy and future legend in-the-making's number. It wasn't until Randy approached her a week later asking for her number so he could message her. Since then a form of friendship had struck between the pair, Randy always coming to see her every Monday to talk to her, as well as messaging their throughout the week. At first he was the one to do most of the talking — most the times about himself. Not in the self-centred way, he did ask Melody about herself, but she only got short answers. But after awhile, and a load of lame jokes later she eventually warmed up to the third-generation wrestler, throwing sarcastic and witty comebacks right back at him.
