"felix, it's all my fault!"
y/n cries, running into the warm, loud house. felix follows closely behind her, screaming her name as he weaves through the crowd. big tears fall down his cheek. she holds whatever is left of the crumpled up flowers close to her chest, the thorns pricking her hands. but the only thing running threw her head was chan. i'm so dumb.. how could i ever do that to him? say that about him, and kiss his half brother! chan is different, he treats me different, he was going to ask me out, that's why he had flowers and a jewlery box..

"y/n!" felix finally bellows, gripping her shoulders after an exhausting run. "when.. when are you going to get over him?" the australian boy pants. y/n squints her eyes, confused at the boy. she can barely hear over all the ruckus. "what? what do you mean?" felix sighs and meets the girl's eyes. "y/n, he told me that.. that he doesn't love you. he doesn't even like you. he told me just wanted to mess with you. i know you think he's different but.. but he's not," y/n can't help but cry even more. she covers here wet face with her hands. "no!" she cries. "me and chan were different, he was different. he changed for me!"

and with that, she ran off. escaped felix's grip, made her way through the crowd, and bursted out the front door. snow was generously falling, not snowflakes anymore but heavy pieces of ice. she ran down the street, panting hard, wanting to escape everything. felix, the drama, chan, her feelings. nothing stopped her as she sprinted down the block, not even the icy and slippery road underneath her. she ran until she couldn't breath, until the pain now wounded up in her legs instead of her heart. she collapsed above a sheet of snow in a field far from the house and let the pieces of ice hit her face. the cold surrounding her, she couldn't feel her limbs. her entire body had gone numb in the snow. y/n closed her eyes, feeling her tears freeze to her face. she was completely helpless. even when not being able to feel anything, she still spent the last of her strength gripping onto whatever was left of the flowers.

"chan..
i'm so sorry,"

she whispered to herself. it wasn't like the australian boy could hear her, but she talked away nevertheless.

"why did you tell felix those things? was our relationship all a joke to you?" her sadness turned to anger, and she clenched her fists trying to find the strength to get back up again. but there was only weakness in her. she was drained and exhausted. freezing, and covered by a thick layer of snow. her thoughts spun together. she was everywhere between mad, sad, tired, exhausted, and freezing. she wanted someone to save her. not felix, he would only make her feel guilty. not chan, he would also make her feel guilty.
she wanted her friends, hara and yuri. they were most likely back at the party having fun and not even noticing her disappearance.
suddenly, she heard a great sigh from behind her head. y/n flinched, her heartbeat quickening. who is that? i don't wanna die out here! she tried to move, but being under such a thick layer of snow, it was impossible to even move a finger.

"whoever's there, stay back! i will hurt you!" her muffled cries were barely heard by the mysterious figure behind her. then, she heard a crunch of the snow, and two legs were on each side of her head. the figure swept away the snow from her body and lifted her from the cold. her eyes were shut tight from the tears freezing them closed. "can you see?"

oh
it's chan

"no" y/n admitted, holding onto his hand for balance to get back to the tesla. she sat in the drivers seat, curled up to try and become warm again. chan reached into the back and found some warm water to pour on her eyes. sure enough she could see again. chan's face was stern and almost angry, y/n sort of wished she couldn't see instead of looking into his eyes, making her feel guilty.

the two sat in the car for about ten minutes with dead silence, y/n trying to warm up. "here, take my hoodie. it's dry and warm," y/n happily obliged and stripped off her black one in exchange for chan's dark green hoodie. the two sat for even more silence, neither daring to comment about what happened back at the house. finally, the blond girl cleared her throat and organized her thoughts, ready to confront chan about what felix had told her.

"look chan, i'm.. i'm sorry for kissing felix. in the moment it was like i was convinced you would hurt me, or that you were leading me on. and then after the kiss, he told me my suspicions were true, that i should move on because.. because you had told him you never loved me, and that you were only messing with me," y/n could feel tears coming down her face again, and she suddenly felt a strong hand grab her little one. she looked deep into chan's brown eyes, which were hurting seeing y/n hurt. he ran his thumb across her hand over and over again, and suddenly she felt safe. "y/n," chan started, "i didn't tell felix any of those things. if anything i told him that i felt you were different. that my past disgusted me, and that i didn't want to run around with a million girls anymore. i told him i only wanted you. and the kiss.. i understand it, but," chan's hand slowly made it's way to y/n's neck, pressing lightly but dilligently against it.

"it's never happening again, babygirl,"

y/n's eyes widening, her face turning a bright pink before nodding up and down. she placed both hands on chan's wrist to try and remove his hand from her neck, and when she finally succeeded, y/n exhaled and leaned back in her seat. "i see you still have my flowers," chan observed, spying the beat up red rose that y/n insisted on keeping close to her. she smiled when she remembered the gift in chan's hoodie. y/n dug her hand into the pocket and pulled out the perfect box, free from any dent or scratch. she gingerly opened the box and gasped when she saw the necklace. it was a gold butterfly one that she had been eyeing for a while, but was always too much to purchase.

"chan! this is.. oh my gosh, how could i ever repay you?" y/n asked, reaching across the seat to wrap her hands around the aussie boy's neck.
he breathed out nervously, preparing himself to say the answer.

"you could.. be my girlfriend?"

to be continued :))
