Damien's POV

After the shocking discovery of my mate being an omega,I left the ball filled with disappointment and anger. I needed to release my frustration on something,so I shifted and went to hunt.

How could the moon goddess be so cruel,I was the first Alpha in all of history to be mated to an omega. Yes,I wanted a submissive wife but not an omega who would submit to even the lowest of my pack members.

I sighted a deer and soon afterwards killed it,this calmed my wolf. I shifted back,put some hidden clothes on and headed towards the pack house.

After I entered the house and I went straight to my room to freshen up. I was still angry,my wolf on the other hand was in dilemma. He knew she was going to be weakness to the pack but he still felt attracted to her,all thanks to the mate bond.

I lay on my bed and 5 hours later, I was still awake. The maid brought in breakfast,I growled at her to take it back,I had lost appetite.

I spent the entire day thinking of ways to get myself out of this situation. I could not reject her,if she had done nothing wrong,it was seen as injustice in the pack.

"Come to the office" my father mindlinked me. I walk to his office and knocked before entering. He was standing by the window with a glass of vodka in his hand. I'm sure he was probably more frustrated about the situation than I was.

"You probably guessed why I summoned you" he started. "The mate you were cursed with is a weakness to this pack,as soon our enemies hear of this,they will not hesitate to attack us. As fate may have it, a solution has presented itself but it is entirely up to you to make that decision"

"What do you mean by a solution?" not getting where he was going with this. He smirked before replying "A pack member overhead your mate and her friend saying some nasty things about the pack,we can exaggerate the details which would allow you to reject her without being condemned by the pack and tainting your public image"

My father was a mastermind when it came to strategic planning,he used any opportunity he had to his advantage and this situation was no different.He had two principles.
1)Anything goes as long it favoured the pack

2)Women were born to serve men
He believed in his principles so much.

especially the last one.

My mother had once scolded me and I reported to my father. Thirty minutes later,my mother returned to me with an apology and a bruised face.

"So basically you want to accuse her falsely and then I reject her"

"Yes,you will have a second chance mate that would hopefully be a better Luna and strengthen the pack" he replied calmly.

"I agree" He looked relieved by my reply as if he expected some resistance from me.

"I'm proud of you son,you've put the pack before yourself which shows that you will one day be a good Alpha"

"Thank you Father" I said before going out of his office.

My wolf was frustrated by all this,if I rejected her,she would also have a second chance mate and he would claim what was rightfully mine-her virginity.I growl at that thought.I knew she was a virgin because no one would ever sleep with an omega.
