Kourtney POV

This first day of school felt so long. I'm glad I at least knew one person, but I only had one class with Milo. I got home after school to a note from my parents. "Hey sweetie, me and your dad had a last minute business meeting in Florida. Then we leave from there for our 3 week vacation. We'll see you in a month. Love you." I read the note, but I wasn't surprised. My parents worked for a big corporation so they were always away for work or on a vacation. I was used to it. I pulled up Milo's number as I sat on the couch. Maybe Milo can hang out I thought to myself as I pushed the call button. "Hey Kourtney what's up?" " Hey Milo. Not much, umm I was wondering if you wanted to hang out?" "Sure. Have you had dinner yet?" " No" "ok. Umm text me your address and I'll pick you up and we can grab something to eat?" "Ok, but I can't be out too late. I have English homework that I'm struggling with." " Well how about I pick up some food and then I can come help you with your homework. I already finished the assessment." "Really? You wouldn't mind helping me with it?" "Not at all!" "Thanks Milo" " your welcome. I'll see you in a little bit." "Ok." Once the phone hung up I texted Milo my address. He responded and asked if McDonald's was fine. I laughed as I told him that was fine and what I liked from there.

Milo's POV

After I stopped at McDonald's to grab our food, I headed over to Kourtney's house. Once I got there, I grabbed the food and walked up to the door. Before I could even knock, Kourtney had opened the door. "I saw you pull into the driveway,'' she said with a smile as she let me in. She ushered me to the living room to sit down. She had her English book and papers spread out on the floor. We sat down on the floor to eat our McDonald’s. Once we were done eating I started helping her with the English assignment. “So what made you decide to move to California for your senior year?” “My parents work for Disney, so they travel a lot. They transferred her. But they had to leave for a week for a meeting in Florida, then they are going on a three week vacation. So it’s just me for the first month of school.” As she tells me this I feel my heart break. “Kourtney, that's awful. You just moved here and they are already leaving you alone.” “I;m used to it.” As she says that I wrap her in a hug. “Well if you need anything just call me, I don’t care what time of day or night it is.” “Thanks Milo.” She says as she gives me another hug. “Your welcome.” I helped her with her assignment. “Thanks for help with English” “No problem.” I tell her. “Do you have to head home?” She asks me as I stand up. “Not yet” I say as I sit back down.

Kourtney’s POV

“Hey can I show you something?” “Sure” he says as I pull youtube up on the tv.

As I type it in I hear Milo snicker beside me. “What’s so funny?” I ask. “Umm.. just this video.” “You’ve seen it?!” I ask with excitement. “Kind of” He says with a laugh.
As the video starts it hits me why he is laughing. I look from him to the tv with wide eyes. “Milo?” I ask as he snickers again. “Yes!” He asks through his laugh. “Umm… are you that Milo? Milo Manheim?” “Yes.” He says as he keeps laughing. “Wait, you were in zombies weren't you?” “Yes. Why?” He asks with a smile on his face. “I remember you. My mom and dad were in on the cast interviews for the movie.” “Really?!” He asked while watching the video. “Yeah.” I tell him. “So I have a surprise for you” he tells me as he smiles down at his phone. “What’s that?” I am curious. Milo holds up his phone, and I see Mason on a video call. “Surprise! When you started the video I called Mason!” I sit there with a shocked look on my face. “Hi! Kourtney. Milo has been talking about you since he met you yesterday.” “MASON!” Milo scolds as his cheeks turn pink. I sit there laughing with my own pink cheeks. “Well it was nice to meet you Kourtney. We definitely will have to hangout!” “Absolutely!” I tell him before Milo hangs up. I look at my phone to see what time it is. “It’s getting pretty late and we have school tomorrow,” I tell him. “Yeah, I should get going.” He says as he stands and heads to the door. “Thank’s Milo. I had fun!” “Me too!” He says with a smile. “Hey before I leave I have a question for you” he says as he stops at the door. “What's that?” I say as I feel my cheeks getting pink again. “I know we just met yesterday, but…. Would you like to be my… girlfriend?” He asks as his own cheeks turn pink. I wrap my arms around his torso. “Yes!” I breathe out. Milo leans down and kisses me. “I’ll see you tomorrow. Night babe.” He says as he gives me another kiss before leaving. I close the door and head to get ready for bed. I can’t believe Milo just asked me out. I smile into my pillow as I fall asleep thinking about Milo.

Milo’s POV

Wow! I can’t believe I asked Kourtney out and she said yes!! I get home and my mom is already in bed. I head up to my room. I grab my phone and text Kourtney. 

Milo- I’m home babe 

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 Kourt<3- Ok! Night. See you tomorrow handsome
Milo- Hey do you want me to pick 

          you up in the morning?

I smile as I lay my phone on the nightstand. I climb into bed and smile as my head hits the pillow. I think about Kourtney and how lucky I am to have her be my girlfriend as I fall asleep.
