Ready to go back to school?

Milo’s POV

I woke up to my alarm going off for school. I rolled over to wake Kourtney up, but she wasn’t there. I got up and went to the bathroom. As I walked in I saw Kourtney looking at herself in the mirror. “Morning babe” I said to her as I walked up behind her and kissed her neck as I wrapped my arms around her waist. “Morning she sniffled as she looked at me in the mirror. “Babe are you ok? You look like you have been crying.” “I haven’t been crying. I was up most of the night because I couldn’t get comfortable and kept getting sick. I think I have a head cold and I have a headache. I feel like crap.” She said as she turned in my arms and placed her head on my chest. “Babe you should have woken me up when you got up last night.” “No, it’s ok. I knew we had school today.” “That doesn't matter. Next time wake me up so I can help you.” I told her as I rapped her in my arms as I kissed her forehead. I instantly could tell she had a fever. I scooped her up and laid her back in bed. As I did I noticed a small bulge under her shirt. 

“Why did you put me back in bed Milo? I have to get ready for school” She said as she tried to keep her eyes open and hold back a cough. “Because you have a cold and a fever. You're staying home. I’m going to have my mom call us in for the day. I’ll be right back. “Milo, you have to go to school” She whined as I kissed her forehead again. “My mom has to work today. I’m not leaving you home alone when you're pregnant and sick with a fever.” “But..” She said as I cut her off. “No buts. I can have Mason and Owen bring our assignments. I’ll be right back.” I went downstairs to talk to my mom and get Kourtney some Tylenol and a glass of water. 

“Hey mom can you please call the school and tell them that me and Kourtney won't be at school today?” “Yes. Is everything ok?” “Yeah, Kourtney just had a bad night. She woke up with a head cold and fever this morning.” I say as I grab some Tylenol and a glass of water. “Ok, if you guys need anything call me and I'll come home. Ok?” “Ok, thanks mom. I headed back up to the bedroom to check on Kourtney. I get back up to the bedroom and find kourtney sound asleep, snuggled into the blankets. I chuckle to myself as I set the water glass and Tylonal on the table. I climbed into bed and wrapped Kourtney in my arms. I layed there watching her sleep when I noticed the small bulge in her shirt again. I slowly lifted her shirt up as I placed my hand over her small bump.

Kourtney’s POV

I woke up to the feeling of something war rubbing my stomach. I slowly opened my eyes to see Milo laying beside me. I buried my face in his chest as I felt him tighten his grip on me. “Morning babe. How are you feeling?” I turned my head to look up at him, his smile reaching his big beautiful brown eyes. “I’m still tired and my head still hurts” I told him as a cough escaped my lips. “Aww babe. Here I got you some Tylenol and water, but when I came back you were asleep. I didn’t want to wake you.” “Thank you” I said as he handed me the glass of water and Tylonal.

After a little bit Milo texted Owen and MAson to see if they would grab our school work for us. Then he went and made some chicken noodle soup for lunch. “Here you go babe” He said as he brought a bowl of soup over to me. After we were done eating we went back up to the bedroom to watch a movie. Milo sat up against the headboard as I sat between his legs and rested my head on his chest. Milo turned a movie on as I started to fall back to sleep. 

When I woke up Milo was just waking up too. “Hey, how are you feeling?” Milo asked with sleep still thick in his voice. “A little better,” I said. Milo rolled over and wrapped me in his arms. He placed his hands on my stomach and rested his chin on my head. “I can’t believe that I can finally see your bump!” Milo said as he rubbed the small bulge in my stomach. “I know!” I said as I leaned my head back to kiss him. Later that night me and Milo worked on our school work, afterwards we went to bed in hopes that I would feel better in the morning.

Hope everyone is enjoying the story. This chapter is a little shorter, but the next few are longer. Starting in the next chapter there is going to be a bit of a time jump for Milo and Kourtney!!
