Character Introduction

Name: Before – K19 (test subject 19 in "K" experiment group)

              After - Sun-Ko (literally "sun" in English and "healer" in Korean)

Age: 15

Background:

She was a part of an experiment group just like M21 and she was the only survivor; however, she was considered a success. What the Union wanted to do was take the regeneration ability that both the Werewolves and the Nobles have and manifest that into an ability that a human could use. The hope was that the Union would be able to have those subjects as the healers for those who were too wounded in battle. If anything, these subjects were backups because it was never thought that an actual threat would come along.

There were 30 test subjects that the experimenters were given, all children under the age of 15. Either "adopted" from the system, kidnapped, given up by their parents, or bought. Sun-Ko was nine when she was given to the Union and was experimented on for five years. Before she was given to the Union her parents were extremely abusive. Both physically and emotionally. They wouldn't allow her outside and she hasn't really had any kind of formal education.

By the end of the experiment, there were only two, but her companion soon died after the final experiment. She was the only one left. In order for the scientist to get the children to do what they wanted, they put extreme shock collars on them. The children would get shocked if (1) they used their healing abilities anytime it wasn't permissible, (2) wouldn't do what the scientist said, (3) tried to escape, (4) the child backtalked, (5) the scientists just felt like it. Because they were children, they tried to find comfort in each other; however, their cruel captors used this against them. Some of the children were so suborn that they could take the shock but depending on who they were close to the experimenters would shock the person the stubborn one was close to.  

Notes:

● Tao gave her her name, Sun-Ko

● Calls trio "Oppa"

● Not very physically strong but healing is amazing, even better than Nobles.

● Is awakened by Raizel and when this happens, she can now make "bonds" with people that stretch for certain distances

              ○ These bonds allow Sun-Ko to know when a person she is bonded to is hurt and/or dead

              ○ When a person dies that she is bonded to, it feels like something is getting ripped out of her chest and she can feel the bond disintegrate

              ○ Distance does get better over time but is harder for her to know when a bond is hurt when they are further away

● See's Frankenstein as a father 

● When she starts going to the school, Frankenstein claims her as his adoptive daughter 

● Loves head pats/pets (honestly, she's like a cat)

● Trio is very protective of her

              ○ Especially M21

              ○ Want her to have as normal a life as possible.

              ○ Want to give her the childhood she never had.

● Because she is physically weak, she is left at home during the fights and heals when they come back

● The bigger the wound the more energy it costs to heal

● Has a stutter that was caused by the shock collar and abuse, but it is getting better with time.

              ○ Is pretty self-conscious about it

              ○ If anyone makes her feel bad about it, you can bet that the Trio will beat that person's ass with no questions.
