Finally! "Alright class, dismissed"the teacher said. I packed my stuff and walked out of the class. I headed towards the stairs and climbed them up until I reached the rooftop, since it was lunch break. I opened the door only to find . . . nobody "At last, some peace and quiet"I said to myself.

I walked towards the edge and looked at the view of the city. I took a deep breath and took out my (F/C) headphones and lunch. I put my favourite song on and started eating. A couple of minutes passed when someone pulled out my headphones. I turned around, ready to kick their ass, when I locked eyes with the one and only Min Yoongi.
"I swear to God, if you do that again, Imma slap you"I said. He chuckled and walked beside me "Nice to see you too (Y/N). What's up?"he asked, taking his lunch out too "Same shit, what about you? Did you finish your song?"I questioned "I'm half way there"he exclaimed, taking a bite out of his food.
Now I know what you're thinking, how did I, an average school girl, ended up being friends with the popular boy of the school. Don't worry, I question myself too sometimes. So here's a flashback for you . . .
~Flashback
I was sitting on the school rooftop all alone, listening to music and doodling on my notebook. It's not like I didn't have friends, I have a couple. It's just that I prefer isolation and socialising makes me mentally tired. Anyway, I didn't know it but I was singing the song softly. It happens sometimes when I'm alone.
I was so lost in my own thoughts that I didn't notice another student sitting a few meters away from me. I continued singing when I felt a tap on my right shoulder. I took off my headphones and looked up and saw Min Yoongi? What the- "You have a nice voice"he stated "Uuhhh, thanks"I said, blushing a bit, a bit surprised by the compliment " I'm Yoongi"he said, extending his hand for me to shake it "Yeah, I know- I MEAN! Nice to meet you, I'm (Y/N) hehe"I nervously laughed while shaking his hand. Did I really just say that? "Sorry, it's just that you're kinda popular here and everybody knows you"I tried to explain myself, scratching the back of my hand "Yeah, lucky me"he said in an obvious fake cheery tone, sitting down beside me.
"Everything okay?"I asked him "Yeah, I just want to get away from my 'funclub'"he said. I giggled and said "Wish I knew how it is to give you some comfort" "Imagine a group of girls, screaming your name in a high pitched voice and following you everywhere you go"he exclaimed "That sounds like a nightmare"I exclaimed "Tell me about it"he chuckled, leaning his head against the wall.
"Anyway, enough about the 'popular boy life', what were you listening to?"he said turning his body towards me "Oh, you probably don't know them, it's (F/U/B-A) (favourite underrated band-artist)"I said "Are you kidding? I listen to them everyday"he exclaimed with wide eyes "Shut up"I said in surprise "What's your favourite song?"I asked him "Hmm hard to choose"he said "Hehe same"I chuckled.
We kept talking until the bell rang. From that day on we continued our 'meetings' on the rooftop. We talked about music, our lives outside of school. He even told me that he writes his own songs but unfortunately his parents don't really support his dream. It's so sad to hear that from him when he talks about music with so much passion.

Time Skip
The next day
I was waiting for Yoongi on the rooftop. I was doodling on my notebook when a loud 'BANG' startled me. I looked up and saw Yoongi looking really mad "Are you okay?"I questioned as he flopped on the ground beside me. He let out a big sigh and explained to me what happened "My parents found my lyrics and threw them in the trash!!!"he yelled, he was about to cry. My eyes widened when he said that "What?!"I exclaimed in surprise "Oh my God"I mumbled. I put my arm around his shoulder and hugged him from the side. He placed his head on my shoulder. I felt him taking deep breaths to calm down. We stayed like that for a while when an idea popped in my head.
"Hey, wanna go to the record store after school? I know that you like it there"I asked him in hope that my suggestion would cheer him up a little. I felt him nodding his head. I sighed in relief and decided to open a small conversation in order to keep his mind busy.
Time Skip
After the record store
We decided that we didn't wanna go home after our visit to the record store so we went to get some ice-cream. We were walking aimlessly around the city when we decided to go to the park. The sun was about to set, making the sky look beautiful "Are you feeling any better?"I asked him. He sighed sadly but put a small smile on his face "Yes. Thanks (Y/N). If it wasn't for you I'd probably be a fucking mess"he thanked me "Don't mention it, anything for you"I smiled sweetly at him. He stopped walking and took my hand in his "I mean it"he said, looking me in the eyes. I felt my heart race and my cheeks burning at this gesture. Do I like him? I mean he's freaking gorgeous but- Ugh stop messing with my heart sir!! "I-I uh told you it's nothing"I stutterd, looking away from him.
I heard him chuckle and pulled me towards him "You're so cute when you are embarrassed"he exclaimed, cupping my cheeks. Before I could process what was happening, I felt a soft pair of lips crushing on mine. My eyes widen once again but eventually melted into the kiss. He pulled away and looked me in the eyes "(Y/N), I really like you. Would you maybe like to uhh go on a date sometime?"he asked me, a blush dusting his cheeks. A smile made its way on my face "You don't have to ask twice"I said and this time I pulled him in a love-filled kiss. He wrapped his hands around my waist. Mine found their way around his neck. We pulled away for air "Sooo, pick you up tomorrow at seven?"he asked "Sounds good"I replied. He took my hand in his and continued our walk in the park.
Oh who am I kidding? I do like this little dork!
