"You little devils, get back here!"my friend, Pearl, yelled as she chased down her little brother and sister but only laughing at her as the two kids continued playing with one other "Pearl calm down. They are just kids"I tried to calm her down "Says the mermaid that doesn't have little siblings!"she said back (A/N:Sorry if you do). She groaned in defeat and hugged me "I can't take this anymore!"she dramatically cried "Easy Drama Queen"I said and pulled her off of me.
We looked over at the kids and they were approaching the 'Forbidden Land'. Our eyes widened and we swum to them in no time. I grabbed the girl and Pearl grabbed the boy. "Sienna, Ervin. What do you think you're doing?"Pearl asked them in a slightly angry tone "We were just playing"Sienna said innocently "You two know that little mermaids are not allowed to go there"Pearl reminded to the little kids "But why?"Ervin asked "Because whoever went there"she pointed to the dark valley in front of us . . .

"Didn't come back"she said "Why?"both of them said in sync Here we go . . . "Legend say that the sea witch leaves there. And whoever met him didn't survive to tell the tale. They say that he lives inside a dark cave, filled with dead sea creatures and spell books. He uses dark magic to whoever stands in his way or strangles them with his tentacles"Pearl finished, her voice had dropped a few octaves for a creepy effect "Okay, that's enough!"I said as I pushed her back from the, now terrified, kids. Both of them swum back towards their home. Pearl had a proud smile on her face and when she turned around to face me she gave me a confused look. My arms were crossed and I gave her an 'are you serious?' look.
"What?"she asked "Really? Terrifying your siblings with this stupid fairy tale?"I asked her "It worked"she pointed to the two kids "Aish. Pearl they are your siblings and don't tell me that you believe this crap about the 'sea witch'"I said, doing air quotes when I said 'sea witch'. "I mean. . ."she started "Are you serious?"I asked in disbelief "Well some have witnessed him"she stated "Aha, and what does he look like?"I questioned, clearly not believing her "They said that he has silver hair, his eyes were glowing red and that he had black tentacles!"she described. I was nodding my head throughout her description.
"Okay, did he, by any chance, put on red lipstick from a seashell?"I said referring to an old fairy tale of ours "First of all I did not described Ursula. Second of all he is a guy and lastly Ursula is not real"she said "And so is he"I exclaimed "Anyway let's go back to the kids"I sighed. Pearl was ahead of me.
