amane yelped and shoved whatever it was behind him, thinking it was his twin brother. except, his hands didn't come in contact with anyone. this made the choppy haired boy panic even further.

a girlish voice giggled. "hmmm~? something wrong?" she asked tilting her head cutely. amane jumped to the wall and stared at the sight in front of him; a nearly transparent girl with white and green ombre hair and an old school uniform.

"w-wha-" he choked out, his long legs practically shaking. "y. . .you're a ghost!" he exclaimed, pointing at the girl. "hmmm... i guess you could say that." the ghost girl said.

she sat up on the tank of her toilet, crossing one leg over another as she tilted her gakuran hat. "or, you can address me as my formal title. one of the seven wonders of the school, yosuke-kun of the toilet." she said.

"nice to meet you~" yosuke said with a smirk. amane's big amber eyes blinked up at yosuke, taking in the way she looked and presented herself. ". . . are you sure you're not just a girl pervert?" he asked.

yosuke choked on her spit and nearly slipped off the tank of her toilet. amane quickly tried to help her, but his hands passed through her ghostly body. this sent chills down both of their bodies.

"d . . . don't do that." yosuke said with a slight flush of her face. "even though you can't exactly touch me, i can still feel your hands go through." she said, looking away before clearing her throat.

"besides that, you came here for a wish right? so, with that being said; tell me your name and what is it that you wish for~" yosuke said, and amane's eyes practically lit up.

"my name is yugi amane. i wish for true love!" he said, a determined look in his amber eyes. yosuke hummed. "ahh. . . that's always the case with some of you people. . ." she said, catching amane's attention.

"always wanting someone to love and someone to love them back." yosuke said with a smirk. "no matter~! a wish is a wish, so i'll grant it nonetheless." she said with a chuckle and amane's heart fluttered.

"do you have anyone in particular you'd like to truly fall in love with?" amane had to think for a while. "mizuno ran, the student council secretary." he said, his cheeks suddenly becoming flushed.

"the student council, hm? bold, but very clichè." yosuke mumbled. "now then. let's go see her~!" she said and she and amane left the boys' bathroom to find the student council secretary.

after finding the secretary and failing many attempts to get her to notice him, amane fell into despair. "its hopeless! minamoto-senpai is practically glued to her hip!" he said with a groan once they returned to the boys' bathroom.

"they have been with each other since they came here in middle school, you know." yosuke said, tilting her head. "anyone else you might have an interest in?" she asked, and amane shook his head in defeat.

"then. . ." yosuke started, and neared amane. "how about me?" she asked, her voice becoming soft and her red eyes becoming half-lidded as she was close to amane's face.

amane blushed bright red and he began to stutter. yosuke suddenly smirked at the expression on amane's face. "you're blushing, yugi~" she teased and gently pushed her hand through amane's chest, making him shiver.

"d. . don't be ridiculous. . ! i can't fall in love with a ghost." amane said, laughing nervously. yosuke let out a forced laugh. "well, you never know! why don't you try it~?" she asked, tilting her head.

amane sighed and stared up at yosuke who was standing right in front of him. "fine. i wish to fall in love with you." he said, his cheeks flushing pink. "maybe if you were my type though." yosuke gives a laugh and holds out a tiny pouch.

"what is that?" amane asked, pointing at the pouch with a seal on it. "these, are mermaid scales. they will bound us together until i'm able to grant your wish." yosuke said, her red eyes becoming half-lidded.

she dropped one scale into amane's palm and took one out for herself as amane swallowed his scale. "oh! you swallowed it already. i still had to explain everything."
