Honey: I'm supposed to be hanging out at the club with my friends. Instead, I'm trapped in a closet with my hot English professor, Ben Dawson.
Suddenly, it feels 10 degrees warmer in the apartment supply closet.
Ben: "It'll get boring waiting for someone to find us. We might as well make the best of things."
Honey fans her face, trying to gather her scattered thoughts.
Ben is so close, the place feels smaller every minute.
Ben: "Are you one of Louis' friends?"
Honey: "His girlfriend's, actually. Roxy is my roommate."
Ben: "You sound like you're from the south. What are you doing up here?"
Honey: "I'm getting stuck in closets."
He chuckles.
Ben: "There aren't closets down south to get stuck in?"
Honey: "Those ones are too spacious. I needed some place more cramped."
Ben: "Well, New York is the right place."
Honey: "It's the right place to work as a doctor too."
Ben: "Is that what brought you to the city? I'm guessing you're a resident at one of the hospitals around here?"
Before she can correct him, Ben continues.
Ben: "Becoming a doctor is ambitious. What made you want to do that?"
Honey: "It's a long story."
Ben: "We've got penty of time. And I love your accent. I could listen to your sweet, Southern voice for hours."
A soft giggle escapes her.
Honey: "You mean it?"
Ben: "Every word. Come on. Tell me more about yourself."
Honey: This is my chance to show Ben the real me. He can't fraternize with students, but he doesn't know I'm a student yet. This is my chance to win him over.
Honey: "I was planning to be a vet. My family has a farm, so it seemed pretty natural for me. But one day, my brother fell off his horse. No one was around. I felt so helpless all by myself, not knowing what to do."
Ben: "Ah. Sometimes life does that. It steers us in unexpected directions."
Honey: "I just want to be able to help people. Especially the people I love."
Ben: "That's very noble. I have a lot of respect for people in healthcare. I hear it's lot of hard work."
Honey: "I'm no stranger to hard work."
Ben: "No, growing up on a farm, I suppose you wouldn't be."
Honey: "How about you? Did you always want to teach literature?"
Ben: "I was supposed to be a football player like my dad. But by the time I hit my growth spurt, I had discovered books."
Honey: "That must have been some growth spurt."
Ben: "Yeah it -- wait, how did you know that? You didn't see me before the door closed."
Honey: Shit. Stay cool. You can recover. I just need a little more time with him before he finds out the truth.
