I looked out the window once again for the millionth time. Tree...tree...tree. That's the only thing that seemed to be around here, trees. Trees with green moss covering their barks, some short like maybe my height which wasn't that tall probably about 5'5 and there were others the size of skyscrapers over towering the small town. "That's me." I thought looking at a tree that was all by itself while the others were in groups.

It sucks. Lockbrook is so small and unheard of that you probably can't find it anywhere in the map. I only knew about it because my aunt lived there and now I was being forced to to move there with her. Okay, okay I might be exaggerating I wasn't necessarily being forced to but I wasn't moving here because I wanted to either. It was just becoming too dangerous to live with my mother now......

Well anyway as I was saying Lockbrook is going to be my new residence. I'm definetly going to miss my old home where all my friends were. I sighed and Aunt Linda turned to look at me again.

"It won't be  that bad, kid. I promise." She assured me, turning back to the wheel. I just smiled and went back to looking out the window.

I must have fallen asleep sometime because I woke up to Aunt Linda shaking me."Honey, Sky. We're here." I sat up from where I had been laying in the backseat quite uncomfortably I might add. I got out with my one suitcase in hand and stood outside observing my surroundings.

In front of me was a small two story blue house with a white porch on the front, the type you might see in movies. There were seven windows, four on the top and three in the bottom. Two of the windows in the top were put into two glass doors that led to a balcony.

Behind and all around the house was a forest thick with trees. I felt a sudden urge to run through the forest but of course I didn't, I would've probably looked like a crazy person. It just looked so inviting.

"Honey don't just stand there,go in." Aunt Linda nudged me forwards, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I went up the stairs of the porch and into the house. The inside looked just as cozy as the outside . There were two brown sofa's one on the left and one on the right, they contrasted perfectly against the light  beige colored walls.

After seeing me just stand there Aunt Linda instructed me where my room was. When I got to the room I realized it was the one that had the balcony. It was really pretty, it was a light blue room with stars in the ceiling that would glow when you would turn of the light. There was a small bed, a dresser with a mirror on it and a wooden nightstand that had a small lap on top of it.

I quickly put away all of my things which wasn't much and made my way downstairs. Aunt Linda was going to take me shopping for school supplies since I had to go to school tomorrow. We hopped in the car and soon we were on our way to one of the closest stores.

"So how you've been?" Aunt Linda asked trying to start a conversation with me. "Umm I'm okay and you?" I asked politely not really wanting to talk about my feelings at the moment.

"I've been great especially since Lucas finally got the nerve to ask me out, I think he wants to jump my bones." I laughed at that, I could tell that she was trying to cheer me up. You see my aunt isn't like other all the other thirty two year old aunt's. She likes to party and have fun although she can be serious...sometimes.

We made small talk throughout the whole ride to store about random unimportant things like the weather and how I like Lockbrook so far.

Once we finally got to the store we hurried over to where all the school supplies were at. "You go that way and I go that way." she pointed for me to go to the opposite direction as her. I nodded and went to the left. Okay what was I going to need hmm. I mentally slapped myself as I realized I had the paper with all the supplies listed in my hand.

Three mechanical pencils and 12-#2 pencils. I walked around the store with the paper in my hand which wasn't such a smart idea. I hit something hard that made me fall onto the ground and the paper fly out of my hand. I crawled over to where the paper lay in front of a pair of converse.

I looked up to see that the converse were on a pair of feet that belonged to a cute brown eyed boy who was looking at me amused. I blushed at the embarrassment of what I had just done in front of this stranger.

He was holding a hand out towards me to help me up and I took it gladly. "Thanks" I whispered. "You're welcome." He stood there with the same amused expression on his face. He was tall, muscular, tanned with green eyes and black hair.

"Well what do you have there?" he asked pointing to the list in my hand. I gave it to him and his eyes    lit up "You're going to the same school as I am. Oh i"m Tyler by the way." he introduced himself.

"I'm Sky." He handed me the list back "Would you want me to help you look for these." I nodded quickly and he laughed. I always had problems with finding things and him helping me would make it a whole lot easier.

"I don't think I've seen you around here before." He commented grabbing a box of pencils and handing them to me. "Nope I don't think you've have, I just moved here like today."

"And you have to start school tomorrow? That sucks." I nodded in agreement. We talked through the whole time as we looked for the supplies well as he looked for the supplies, he knew the store way better than I did.

As he had said he helped look for all the things on the list and I had almost forgot about my aunt until I heard her yell my name. "I'm over here!" I answered back.

She came running over to me with a weird look on her face. Her hair was all messed up and her lipstick was all over her face. "What did you do? Kiss a hippopotamus." I asked making Tyler chuckle. "Close but it wasn't a hippopotamus. Oh hey Tyler." She greeted him once she finally noticed him standing next to me.

I fixed her hair and wiped the lipstick off her face with the hem of my shirt. "Okay there you go."

"Thanks hun." "You're welcome I know you'd do the same for me." I laughed.

"I'm going to go pay for these." I stated awkwardly as I saw them start to whisper about something that I assumed I wasn't supposed to be listening to. All I heard was "Does she know?" and words like "Wolf", "Mate and "Pack." before I made my way to the cash register.

"Bye Tyler thanks." I waved goodbye as I got in the truck with my aunt. "Bye-Oh wait." he stopped the door before I closed it "Umm I was wondering would you like a ride to school tomorrow?"

"That would be great thanks again." He smiled. "Anytime Sky"

We finally got home and I put everything in the backpack. I felt really exhausted from the whole trip and so I fell asleep as quickly as I laid on the bed and I was thankful for that.
