You wake up refreshed and happy in your cozy, fluffy pajamas. Today is a fresh new start of senior year the last year before you're on your own.You scared at that thought you aren't ready to be on your own but I'm surrounded by my two best friends and that is all I could ever ask for. You get up and you start your daily routine with personal hygiene and getting dressed in your uniform. You run downstairs and your older brother Jung Wooseok is cooking breakfast for the two of you.
"Hi big bro what did you make this morning?" you direct towards him.
"Only your favorite eggs, bacon and waffles!" he says with a giant smile on his face.You start to drool.
"You're amazing Wooseok!" You start to sniffle making it sound like you're crying.
He stops for a second and giggles. You both break out into a laughing fit for a few minutes till you get serious again. "Alright continue making me breakfast." You say trying to hold in your giggles.
He retorts with a yes ma'am and finishes up cooking your breakfast. Once you finished you give your brother a hug and run out the door noticing that Jae and Felix were waiting there for you.
"Hi guys!" you yell while running towards them.
They wave to you and give you a hug. "Are you guys ready for your senior year!?" You ask in excitement.
They both smile. "Of course I am because you're here but I don't know about Felix." Jae spits out.
Felix looks up at him and punches him in the shoulder " I am super excited this year Y/N and hopefully we can send the rest of high school happily together!" Felix squeaks.
You are all very close to each other and everyone knows everyone in your family.
You have finally reached your school not long before the bell rings. You, Jae, and Felix have all reached your class in enough time and you all sit down at your respectful desks. The teacher walks in to start the new year off.
"Hello students, I am your new teacher Kim Mingyu. It is nice to meet you all as I am your new teacher. I am sorry for pronouncing your names wrong so please correct me." He slightly smiles knowing he has a tough crowd to please.
He goes through the roster of names and he reaches your name.
"Y/N?" he questions, hoping he said it right. you reply with "Present."
A few names later he reaches the name you dislike the most, Kim Matthew.
"Kim Matthew?" the teacher asks questions of any student who may have that name. Reluctantly he walks in as his name is being called.
"Sup I'm here. By the way, my name is BM please call me that." You roll your eyes and look out the window.
You hear your teacher reply with " Hello BM nice of you to join us please go sit in your seat."
He walks to his seat with every girl in the class staring at him. You won't lie, he is a tad bit good looking but you're not interested in the playboy.
After the teacher has finished roll call he announces your first assignment of the year gaining groans from everyone in the class.
"Your first assignment this year will be a project on a musical artist that is influential to you. We will do this by pulling names. Whoever you pull is who you are paired with and will have to spend the next few weeks making this project." You pray to get at least one of your best friends while both look at you hoping they pick you as well.
He goes through the names again calling each individual. He gets to Jae's name and he pulls Felix. You cry inside now you just pray you don't get BM. Mingyu finally reaches your name and you go up to pull the name. You open up the folded piece of paper in your tiny hands and you see the name you dread Kim Matthew. Your eyes go wide and you turn to the teacher and ask him a question.
"Can I pick a different name please?" Mingyu shakes his head no and you sigh.
" Who did you miss Y/N?" You put your head down and say his name that's sticking in your throat.
"BM..." you say quietly.
He groans and you shoot him a glare. He looks up at you and winks but you roll your eyes while walking to your seat. You noticed that all the girls were looking at you but you just turn and look out the window.
