Chapter Seventeen

I had just arrived in New Jersey after being gone for 3 months nothing changed we were still in quarantine but some people were able to go out but we had to have masks on. i was waiting for my mom to pick me up i also forgot to mention that Liv and Jose moves back before me they moved one month earlier cus they had to go home cus mom wanted them joke but i wanted to stay so i did. i had changed my wallpaper to me and my dad when i was younger i still can't believe he was gone i was wearing sweats and my dad hoodie with a messy bun and air force's. i had packed all my stuff from my old house cus the house we stayed in was getting sold. i took all my dads clothes cus i knew i would miss him to much that i needed him. my birthday was next month and i didn't wanna celebrate cus every time it was my birthday my dad would always bake me a cake guess i won't be doing that this year. my mom just picked me up i was silent the whole car ride i was just staring at the picture of me and my dad.

y/m-hey you ok

Y-yea totally except you know my best friend just died

y/m-honey i'm sorry about it i know you loved him and y'all were so close

Y-i just can't believe he's gone

y/m-when we get home i wanna show you something and Alejandro moved back with us

Y-what why

y/m-kairi dad came home and he's staying so they had to kick him out and i offered to take him but he's staying with Jose and if we have a problem tell me and he'll be gone

i wanted to tell her to kick him out but he would have no where to go and everything that happened between us is in the past so i guess he could stay

Y-yea it's fine

y/m-wanna get some food

Y-that would be nice

we got some food and headed home i was excited to see Kairi it's been 4 months of our relationship i've never been happier. i arrived at my house and saw Jose and Liv eating cereal

J-y/n!. he ran up to me and hugged me so tight

O-y/n oh i missed you so much

J-theres someone who wants to say hi

Y-who

Alejandro had appeared from the corner of my eye

A-hey y/n

i wanted to go and hug him i missed him a lot not like feelings wise like a friend wise

Y-Alejandro

A-hey. he flashed that 10,000 dollar smile that could make a girl die

I ran to him and hugged him i missed him a lot

Y-i missed you

A-and i missed you. hey i heard about what happened to your dad i'm sorry

Y-it's ok thank you tho

we hugged for about 4 minutes until we both let go. i had to admit i still loved Alejandro but i also liked Kairi. i don't know who or what i want.

3 hours later

i was sitting in my room i got bored and decided to rearrange my room i was about to when something popped into my mind my mom what was she gonna show me. i decided to go ask cus i was bored and wanted to know

Y-hey mom what were you gonna show me

y/m-right i almost forgot

she took me to the closet behind her clothes was a safe

Y-what is this

Y/m-a safe this was your dads he told me "if something were to happen to me tell y/n to open it" the code is your birthday

J-hey mom me and liv wanted to kno-what's going on

y/m-come bring Liv

i saw my two siblings enter the closet with me. i opened the safe and saw a letter with a lot of other stuff the letter said

Dear,Y/n

my beautiful daughter if your reading this i love you so much your the best thing that has ever happened to me. i knew once you were born me and you would be so close i know you didn't want to leave Jose and Liv but we had to. if something happens to me always remember this i'm still here just not a call away or ft away i'm here just talk to me and i'll talk back you won't hear but you'll know when i am. i love you so much never forget that here are some things of mine that i thought you should have. i love you no matter what.

i burst into tears i missed him so much. i held the note right by my heart and cried Jose was rubbing my back and Liv was hugging me.

J-look at the stuff he has it's for you

i found a chain and it was a gold chain that had a cross. i also found his high school ring. i found his soccer jersey that he had when he played. i found more pictures of us together the thing i found that hit me hard was his bracelet the bracelet was silver and had the words forever and always i cried even more seeing all this stuff he had.

Y-thank you for showing me this mom it means a lot

y/m-of course

i left the room and went to my room. i put the chain on,the bracelet,and his high school ring. i cried knowing he was gone. i finally decided to rearrange my room i put my bed against the wall and put my vanity to the side of it i put all my clothes away cus i hadn't unpacked. i put my dads clothes in a special place in my closet i put pictures of me and my dad all on my nightstand and on my vanity. i had a polaroid picture of us together and put it in my phone case,i took the letter he wrote me and grabbed a picture frame and framed it i hung it on my wall and stared at it. i knew my dad would always be there even if he wasn't a call away. i got hungry and went downstairs to get food i saw Alejandro watching tv he saw i had been crying

A-hey you ok

Y-yea i guess

A-no your not tell me. he got up from the couch and made his way to me

Y-just my mom showed me sum stuff my dad wanted me to have before he died and kinda got sad

he looked at the chain,the ring,and the bracelet

A-aw this is so cute. he pointed to the bracelet

Y-yea i guess. i miss him so much

A-i know you do. i'm really sorry

Y-it's ok you know the last thing he told me

A-what

Y-"when i get home we'll do face masks and watch movies like old time" i started crying

A-aw come here. he opened his arms and i hugged him i cried in his arms knowing i lost my best friend.

Y-i can't believe he's gone

A-i know i can't either it's gonna be ok tho

Y-will it really

A-yes. i lifted my face from his neck and looked at him our faces were inches apart. he leaned in and so did i our lips met i missed the feeling of his lips. it turned into a heated make out he picked me up and put me on the counter i didn't want to do it right there cus then someone would come downstairs.

Y-upstairs

he picked me up and we went upstairs he gently threw me on the bed locked the door,turned the lights to red,and put on netflix. he got on top of me and started kissing my neck i was moaning a lot. and yk what happens after that. once we finished he cuddled me to sleep i felt so safe with him like nothing else mattered. holy shit am i with Kairi and i just had sex with my ex..
