Chapter 2•• The dates

*Maddies POV*
'Hey what time are you coming to pick me up?' I texted Matt. Tonight we are apparently going out to dinner and I have no clue what to wear or what time he is coming

'umm about 7:00' he replied within a couple of minutes

It was currently 5:00 so that gave me about 2 hours to get ready. I decided to put on this new mint blue cocktail dress I got at the mall yesterday. I put on some light mascara, eyeliner, blush, and all the other make up I "needed".

I was ready about 6:30 so I just kind of waited around until 7:00 came.

*Matts POV*
I was getting ready to pick Maddie up at 7:00.

It was about 6:45 now so I figured I should go pick her up. I was really nervous because I didn't know how this was going to go.
I was just pulling into her driveway, and I saw her come out of her house and she jumped in the car.
"Hey" she said with the cutest smile
"Hey, beautiful" I said and she blushed a little bit.
"So where are we going?" she said
"Somewhere" I said with a smirk

She replied with an okay and turned on the radio.
I texted Hayes to see where he was at with char and he replied with 'Char and I are almost there if we get there before you guys we will save a table' I texted back 'Okay we should be there soon to about 10 minutes' he read it and said 'okay'

*Maddies POV*
I must have fallen asleep in the car because I felt somebody shaking me and I woke up looking at this beautiful, fancy restaurant. Also next to our car I saw a car that looked like Hayes', but I just ignored it.

Matt and I finally walked in and it was absolutely amazing it had this giant chandelier. A waiter walked past me and Matt with a plate of pasta and it looked delicious! I couldn't wait..

*Charleys POV*
Hayes and I were in this super fancy restaurant, and I swear I could have seen a brunette that looked exactly like my best friend. And guess what?! It was her!!

I ran up and hugged her asking her what she was doing here.
She replied with "Im here with Matt on our 'date'" she then smiled

"Omg no way" I said "I'm here on my 'date' with Hayes!!" I said with excitement lacing my words.

We finally sat down and hayes sat next to me and Maddie sat next to Matt. We were all just talking when a waiter came and took our order for drinks.

"I'll have coke please" Maddie said I'm pretty sure that was her favorite drink

"Same here" I said

Matt and hayes both ordered Mountain Dew. A couple of minutes later the waiter came back and gave us our drinks. We all decided what we wanted to eat and ordered.
This was an Italian restaurant so I was pretty sure they had good spaghetti and meat balls, that's what I got to eat so did mads.
Matt got some kind of ravioli and Hayes got a pizza for himself of course he didn't eat it all.

After we were all done eating we finally decided on getting some desserts. Hayes and I split and giant cannoli and Matt and Maddie split cheesecake.

*Hayes' POV*
Char looked so gorgeous all night I couldn't help but stare at her the entire time.

After we were all done with everything I decided to ask charley if she wanted to come back to my place and watch a movie and she said "sure sounds fun!" in that sweet voice of hers.

We started driving back to my house and I think she fell asleep. When we got to my place I tried to wake her up but she wouldn't budge. So being the man I am I picked her up and carried her in.

When I put her down I made some coffee incase she woke up. She must have smelt the coffee or something because she like woke up in an instant.

"Are you making coffee?" She asked with an excited tone in her voice
"Yup, just for you" I answered
"Yaaaay" she squealed

I got two mugs out and started to pour the coffee in. Also I got out the whipped cream and put some on them.

We both sat down on the couch.
"What movie do you want to watch?" I asked her
"I don't care, whatever you want" she answered
So I decided just to rent the movie grown ups, it was pretty funny at some parts. After a while charley started to fall asleep and I just watched her lay there.

*Maddies POV*
When Matt and I started to drive home from the restaurant we sang to songs the whole way back.
"Hey I had a great time tonight!" I said over the loud music
he turned the radio down and said "ya so did I" with a big smile. "Hey do you want to go back to your place and hangout?" He asked
"Sure, we can play some games and stuff" I answered. We made it back to the house and I pulled out all the board games I had. "Let's play!!" I yelled..
