I'll be staring at you like nobody watching
Pretending not too obvious like an observer from a far
Quiet like a trapper should beI hold my tempestuous heart for enough and so long
I was healed once, yet the scar remains the sameSee you burst into joy is my privilege
The blushing cheek and the laughing scene
The holding hands, and the kissing lips
Far enough to him, the guardian of yours
Stay as it is, don't let the world take your genuinenessThe purest soul I ever dreamt to keep
Yet, keeping is to set you free
and let me be your one to let it be
