Chapter 2

"Auntiiieeee," Natsu calls to you running into the bedroom you were staying in. You yawn and sit up in bed.

"Yes sweetie," You ask. The little girl runs to the bed and jumps on you laughing. You laugh as well squeezing her in a hug.

"Can we go get popsicles?" She asks, "It's hot today and Shoyo went to the arcade without me." I hadn't even realized that the boy was gone. I had been here for longer than I originally thought. It had already been a week since I'd arrived and their mom was still gone.

"What time is it Natsu?" I wonder.

"Almost one." She responds. I had stayed up late last night working on a project for the marketing team.

"Oh already." I say, "Did you at least eat breakfast? I can't start you off with popsicles." She nods her cute little head.

"Shoyo made me cereal before he left." she explains. I roll out of bed stretching and she scrambles down.

"Okay. If you go change out of pajamas we can go." I tell her. She jumps excitedly and zooms to her room. I smile after her. She was such a sweet kid. Making my way to the bathroom I quickly wash my face and brush my teeth. Of course I remember to moisturize as well. Then I head back to the room and look for a quick outfit. No need to look cute just to go get popsicles. I decide on a white loose tee and leggings. That should be good enough. My (h/c) locks looked a mess so I just pulled them into a bun and called it good.

"Let's gooo!" Natsu calls from the front door. I walked out to meet her. "Can I ride my scooter?" She already has her helmet in her hand so I don't have the nerve to say no.

"Go for it." I say. She races out of the door and I grab my wallet before following her. We make our way to the nearest convenient store. It doesn't take that long to walk to. Natsu seems to be enjoying herself on her scooter and the sun feels nice on my skin. When we reach the store I help her remove her helmet and we walk in together. She goes straight to the freezer.

"Welcome in !" A familiar voice calls from the register. I turn to see the blonde coach at the register. I give him a small bow of acknowledgment.

"Hello." I say. He seems to lose his bored expression as he realizes who I am.

"(Y/N)...You're still in town?" He questions. I shrug and look around the store.

"It would seem so," I say. Natsu runs up to me grinning and holding out two strawberry popsicles. "Are these the ones you want?"

"Yes please." she says.

"Okay one second." I say, "Auntie wants an onigiri. I haven't had breakfast yet." I walk to the fridge with Natsu on my tail and pick out two spicy tuna origami. Then we head to the checkout counter.

"Will that be all." The coach says and I nod getting ready to hand him my money. He shakes his head. "It's on the house." I look down at him bewildered.

"Why?" I wonder. He shrugs.

"Why not?" he says. Natsu snatches up one of the popsicles.

"Thank you!" She says and runs to the front of the store to eat it. I look back to the coach. I notice that he's wearing earrings this time. He didn't have them the first time I met him. It must be against the school's rules. I think that this is a better look for him. :ess clean cut, but I had zero intentions of letting him know that.

"Thanks." I say. "Do you want to come sit with us? I don't think she'll want to go home for a while." He stands up and pops his back.

"I don't see why not. Sitting in here is boring." He says walking from behind the counter. He removes his apron and picks up my food.
