"Bangs are just calm mullets"

Because we all make impulsive decisions.

Especially now.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
          The four had decided to stay home for the day after what happened the past couple days. Akaashi was in his room and Kenma was in his room as well, playing a game he had gotten. Bokuto and Kuroo were in Kuroo's room talking about something. A quiet tmp tmp tmp could be heard as Kenma walked over to Akaashi's room. "Oh, Kenma! Just the person I wanted to see! How does this sound? 'And to my recollection, that's how it went the first time around.', Doesn't it sound nice?", Akaashi read out as Kenma stepped in, uncharacteristically happy for once. "Used in the right way, it'd be great.", he replied, sitting himself down on Akaashi's bed. "Exactly! I stayed up all night trying to think of something and I've finally got it!", Akaashi exclaimed. Now that he mentions it, There were a lot of crumpled up papers and lots of mugs on Akaashi's desk, which he always kept clean. "Akaashi, why don't you take a break? Maybe clean your desk?", Kenma suggested, swaying side to side on the edge of the bed. Akaashi, in response, shook his head, pushed up his glasses, and continued typing, "I have the perfect piece in my head, Kenma. If I stop, it'll all go away!", Akaashi explained, taking a sip from his coffee.
          Kenma hopped off the bed and bid Akaashi goodbye, which he got a hum in response. Kenma continued his hunt for something to do, since he had gotten bored of the game. He considered going into Kuroo's room to see what the two were doing, but he immediately shuddered at the thought, his mind flashing back to horrible times. He wandered into the kitchen, deeming cooking being too much work. Baking was, surprisingly, Bokuto's thing. Once, he was pestering Akaashi once about how there was nothing to do, so they baked some cookies together. Bokuto ended up loving it, so he took up baking. Occasionally, there'd be a pleasant smell wafting through the apartment and it usually meant Bokuto had control of the kitchen for an hour or so. So, with nothing to do in the kitchen, he grabbed a snack from the pantry and headed off into the living room. Kenma sat down on his bean bag in the corner of the room, looking out the window. 'There was a good cloud to sky ratio', Kenma observed, eating a piece of chocolate.
          Once he finished the few chocolates he had, Kenma got up and threw away the bag, passing by the bathroom mirror. He stopped and paused for a couple minutes. His hair had gotten pretty long, to be honest. Kenma went on Twitter and took a mirror picture, lifting up a small piece of his hair. He tweeted about cutting it and asking if he should or not. A quick refresh and the first reply said that he should, so guess who's about to cut their hair? Kenma grabbed the kit with all the hair cutting tools and set it on the vanity. He pulled out the comb and scissors and got to work. He snipped off some hair on either side, trying his best to keep it even. And then, the cursed thought came. 'what would I look like with bangs?', Kenma sampled it, pulling down some hair in front, thinking about it. He gave it some thought and nodded, thinking it looked fine, so he snipped the hair off and oh no, what a mistake that was. He stood in front of the mirror, staring at his reflection in horror, the bangs were right above his eyebrows and they followed middle part his hair was constantly in. He tried his best to fix it, but no avail.
          He quickly hopped in the shower after cleaning the hair on the floor, washing off the hair on his shoulders. 'Maybe it'll look better after I wash it...', Kenma thought, frantically scrubbing his hair with shampoo. He rinsed it out and turned off the shower, roughly drying his hair. Kenma stood in front of the mirror after his hair had partially dried and the part had gone, so that was good. He put on a different shirt, since the shirt he was wearing before had hair all over it. He cleaned and put up the kit, tottering over to Akaashi's room again. "Akaashi, how's the story going?", Kenma asked, poking his head into the doorway. "It's going great! I got 2 pa- KENMA?!", Akaashi shouted, almost tipping out of his chair. Kenma fiddled with his bangs, his ears turning red. "Does it look weird?", he asked, trying to fix whatever was wrong. "er.. well, it looks fine, Kenma, but you could've asked me to cut your hair for you..", Akaashi weakly said, pushing up his glasses nervously.
          Heavy thumping resonated throughout the apartment, and Kenma froze in fear. "We heard Kaashi scream! What's-", Bokuto immediately stopped after seeing Kenma. "Akaashi, who's this? Your friend?", Bokuto asked, looking over to Kenma. "Bokuto, that's... Kenma.", Akaashi said, taking off his glasses. "Kenma? But Kenma never had bangs...", Bokuto said, obviously confused. "He cut his hair, dummy.", Kuroo smacked Bokuto on the back of his head before pushing in front of Bokuto. He put his hand on Kenma's shoulder, surprisingly calm. "It's okay, Kenma, you look fine.", Kuroo said, smiling assuringly. Kenma looked up at Kuroo, surprised. Akaashi was equally surprised at how mature Kuroo was about the situation. Bokuto jumped in, smiling widely. "Yeah! Everyone knows that bangs are just calm mullets!", he said, trying to lighten the situation. Kenma stared at Bokuto now, confused and shocked. Akaashi pinched theh bridge of his nose and sighed.
Kuroo looked deep in thought and looked over to Bokuto as well.
"Bro... You're right!"
