Chapter 4

Thomas' POV:

I need to look hella sexy for this lunch date. Well I want it to be a date but I need to get to know her first, even though she seems lovely. I put on a tan tank top then on top of it a plaid button up. I brushed through me hair for about 8 minutes to make sure it was perfect. It was now 10:57 so I started to walk over to Raven's house. Of course I only had to walk 4 steps but she was waiting on her porch. Her beautiful hair shined in the sunlight and she was wear a plaid button up also! She. Is. Beautiful. If I hadn't said it enough already.
"Hey Tommy", she said while walking toward me," I hope you don't mind me calling you that"
"No, no, it's fine. I don't mind at all."
"Good. So where are we going Tommy?", she asked
"Starbucks?"
"I thought you'd never ask", then she smiled.
We walked to Starbucks since it was really close. While we were walking we were just quite which was awkward. When we got there I ordered a peppermint coffee and Raven got a hot chocolate with a cinnamon bun. She got a table for us while I waited for our stuff. The lady gave me our things and I walked to the table Raven was at.
"Here is your hot coco and cinnamon bun straight from the counter to your table. Enjoy."
" You know your pretty funny. So where did you move here from?" Raven asked me.
As I was about to answer a random voice yelled Ravens name. He started walking toward our table.
"Dylan!" Raven bursted out. She got up quickly and jumped to hug him.
"Hey Rav! How are you!" The so called Dylan said," Raven, who's this?" Dylan was pointing at me now.
" That's my new neighbor. His name is Thomas and he's just taking me out for lunch today." Raven blurred out.
It disappointed me that she didn't even say I was her friend. I was just her new neighbor. What was more disappointing was that I think Dylan and Raven are dating. I knew she had a boyfriend. My luck had run out.
"I'll see you around Rav.", then Dylan left.
Raven sat back down and took a sip of her hot chocolate. It was silent for two second then I asked
"So Dylan is your boyfriend?"
"Haha! That's hilarious! No, we are just friends Tommy. And I know you like me anyways.", i was surprised to an extent
"What?"
"Come on Tommy, the first thing you did when you saw me was wanted to hug me and you did, unless you are super friendly I think you like me."
"Yeah, I do but that's why I took you out. To get to know you better.", I stated
"I know."
We finished our drinks and we split the cinnamon bun. I thought it was cute how she offered to share it with me. After everything was done we started walking back. It was at least 10 minutes to walk back so I thought I would hold her hand. I looked at her hand, then looked back up. I couldn't do it. I can't do it. I just...damn Thomas stop being such a douch and man up. I looked at her hand again and inched my hand closer then stopped. I wasn't going to do it.
"See, that's other evidence that you like me.", Raven said and broke the silence," you just tried to hold my hand. Well go on." She put her hand out.
I locked my fingers with hers and we walked together, holding hands. We got to our houses and she invited me to go in her house. I wasn't going to say no so I went inside.
"Who is it?", an unfamiliar voice yelled from a far room.
"It's Raven, mom and I have a friend with me."
"Ok"
We were still holding hand and she pulled me up the stairs. She let go of my hand and walked into her room. It had blue walls, a pink door, and poster everywhere. Then...BAM...she kissed me! I kissed back and before I know it I was making out with someone for the first time. I had never really had my first kiss but it just came naturally I guess. She ran her fingers thought me hair and it was relaxing in a way. We stopped kissing and then I blushed. Of course she saw me and laughed a little bit.
"Why are you blushing so much Tommy?"
"Well, that's the first time I've ever made out with someone. It's actually my first kiss."
"Oh I'm sorry. I didn't know you've never...", I cut her off
"It's fine, I loved it." Now I was blushing even more.
We made out again for 15 minutes and then I went home. I didn't want to leave but I did. I was so happy! I had a girlfriend and she kissed me! Yay! Damn.
