Chapter 6

Caleb's POV:

"Alright guys nice scrimmage today I hope you boys play well this Saturday we have an undefeated record to uphold."
"Caleb!" Raven called
I ran over to her, "yes."
"We need to go."she said in an exasperated sigh.
"Ok."I said
"CALEB!!!"
~who now~ I thought in my head.
I turned around and I saw a slender girl running to catch up with me.
"Hi." she said
I was surprised she wasn't out of breath by the distance she ran.
"Hi."
"Olivia right." I questioned.
"Yup." she responded with a cheesy smile which looked quite cute on her.
I knew one that about Olivia she was absolutely beautiful. I also knew she was very intelligent as well as athletic. I asked her to hold on while I told Raven to leave without me while I stayed and talked to Olivia. Raven rolled her eyes as she turned on her heel as she walked to her car.
"Who is that?", asked Olivia
I noticed she had a hint of disappointment in her voice.
"She is just a good friend of mine", I replied.
I saw Olivia relax.For a little while longer we talked about anything to our lives school and sports. I found out we do the same sports soccer,swimming,and track. I also found out her best subject was Language Arts. That was my lowest subject. She found out that my best subject was math though. the sun was setting and I knew it was getting late I still had a 5mile run home so I should get going. as we said good our good byes and walked away. Then I stopped and thought for a moment.
"Olivia!" I called
She spun around so fast I thought she was trying to do a 360 spin.
"Yes?" She asked
"Would you like to go out with me?"
She waited and the suspense killed me. "Yes.", She finally said after making me wait for two minutes, which felt like an eternity to me.
We both smiled
I also added," There is a party tomorrow night at one of my friends houses. Want to come?"
"Yes.", she said more quickly this time and she turned and left just as I turned to leave. It summer was going to be the best of them yet.
