"Are you ready to meet your people?" Lieutenant Calder smiled with anticipation.

"Heck yeah! This is gonna be great! I wonder what kind of food they have." Goku tapped his chin.

"Typical... Always thinking with your stomach. " Vegeta seemed cynical but smiled when he noticed Goku looking at him.

Calder opened the ship entrance. "Ok. Here we go."

The three stepped out and were greeted by every Saiyan in the village. Every Saiyan left in existence...

There was an obvious age gap among them. Only nine elders, seven young adults, and the rest were very small children.

"Well." Vegeta looked at the crowd. "Who's in charge then?"

"That's just it." Said the Lieutenant. "There is no leader. They farm and hunt. If a problem happens among them, they just vote on how to solve it..."

Vegeta growled. He looked through the crowd to find someone who at least looked like a leader. "You there!" He pointed to a young man. "What is your name?"

"Umm.."

"Well, spit it out!"

"It's Appa, Sir!"

The boy barely resembled a leader, but Vegeta didn't have much choice. "Well, Appa. What is it that you do?"

"I'm a hunter, Sir. "

"Fine then. You're going to be my captain. You're going to help me establish rank and order around here. Kakarot?"

"Yeah, Vegeta?"

"You're in charge of teaching everyone that isn't geriatric to fight."

"If I may, Your Highness..." An old man with a walking staff stepped forward. "We've all vowed not to fight. It's only caused pain and destruction to us Saiyans as I'm sure you remember. "

The little patience Vegeta had was wearing thin. "That's preposterous! If Freiza had found you instead of Lyra, you all would have been slaughtered on the spot!" He crossed his arms and glared at the insubordinate old man. "Refusing to fight will be the death of all of you."

"He has a point." A young woman spoke up. "I'm sorry elder, but I think we should listen to him. This is Prince Vegeta, right? I'm sure he knows what's best for us."

"His father was the reason our last planet was destroyed!" Said an elderly woman. "If he hadn't drawn Freiza's attention then we wouldn't have had to bring you young ones here in the first place."

Vegeta's eyebrow twitched. He could feel anger and resentment. What ungrateful bastards. "You people call yourselves Saiyans!?" Vegeta powered up to super saiyan blue. Goku powered up as well, causing to crowd to go silent. "This is what you can achieve with proper training. Kakarot and I were able to kill Freiza even at his strongest! If you refuse to fight then fine. For those of you who aren't complete idiots, training will start in one hour with Kakarot. "

They powered down. Vegeta did his best to calm himself. "Appa!"

"Y-yes, Your Highness?"

"Where can we discuss our plans to establish order?"

"W-We could discuss them at my home. Please, come this way!"

Vegeta walked with Appa away from the group, leaving Kakarot and Calder with the rest. "So?" Kakarot put his hands on his hips and flashed his signature grin. "Where do we get some grub around here?" He giggled like a child. Calder smirked at his counterpart's innocence.

They were lead to a building that was larger than most others in the village. Calder explained that it was their version of a Town Hall. Inside was an enormous spread of local vegetables, what looked like fruits, and roasted beasts. Goku and Calder ate alongside the villagers. Some of the younger saiyans asked Kakarot questions about how he and Vegeta had defeated Freiza. He happily gave all the details between grotesquely large mouthfulls of food. Calder seemed to be flirting with one particular you woman, but Goku didn't pay any attention. He was more interested in the food.
