Mist watched the trainees work. They had almost completely rebuilt the Empire, adding in what she called 'the Tower' with an escape to the surface.

It had taken almost a full year to return the Empire to its original glory. Now that it was nearly done, Mist finally allowed her shoulders to relax. The stress of planning an entirely new Empire was a heavy burden.

Mist had gotten the other Leaders to sign a treaty with her and agreed that the location of her Empire would remain secret. But just to be sure, Mist did organize a heist in which the Empire's most experienced hackers got into the database of their ships and erased all information regarding the location of their planet. It was never a bad thing to be safe.

Savini had been spared, though Mist and the other Leaders had sent in several spies and influencers into his Empire. They made sure that all of his illegal projects were destroyed in the process.

Mist personally wanted to kill him. It was cruel, but she believed that he deserved it, the other Empires were having enough trouble as it was to recover from his attacks. But he had somehow talked his way out of it, practically charming his way out of proper justice.

Maelstrom was nowhere to be found, after he ran off in the woods, even after several scouts had searched for him in vain. He had disappeared, although it was no coincidence that a new Empire had arisen, and their Leader wore a helmet at all times, and had no background. Mist kept special tabs on him, almost certain it was Maelstrom.

"Mist?" Nathan asked, Mist turned around to see Nathan standing behind her, with a trainee. She only knew the boy's rank because he bore no shoulder armor. Only thieves were given armor.

"Yes?" she asked. Nathan nodded to the trainee. "This is Taylon," he said. Mist nodded to Taylon, who was a tall teenager with light brown hair, rubbing his Shadow Mark thoughtlessly. "Hello Taylon.

Nathan, what did you two need?" she asked. Nathan almost pushed Taylon forward. "I was watching Taylon practice his lockpicking, but he just held up the key to the chest, and it was pitch black," he explained, Mist's eyes widened as she stared at Taylon.

"Mist, I believe Taylon is a Key-Master," Nathan said softly, clearly still in awe. Mist smiled, then held out a hand to Taylon, who hesitantly shook it.

"I believe that this is the beginning of something very new." she said.
