Where am i

Welcome back to chapter 3 of my first ever fanfic The ChoiceI'd love feedback on what y'all like/dislike about it and I'm open to any ideas y'all have for me. You'll see I changed my writing layout a little bit, I thought it was to bunched up any who. Without further ado let's get this story kicking.
"Thinking"
"Speaking"
"YELLING"
"All Might"

Izuku's POV
   I opened my eyes to see a bright white light "where am I" I thought to myself. "Am I dead" I mumbled out only to hear crying. I turn my head slightly to see my mom crying holding my hand. Right next to her was the one person I was least expecting.
   "K-ka-Katsuka" I speak in a low groggy voice. I turn my head back towards my mom and squeezed her hand. I felt her jump at the sudden movement, she look up to my and our eyes met. "H-Hey m-m-mom" I say half smiling.
   She lunges embracing me into a hug. "Gasp, Izuku!" She cries holding me to her chest. Katsuka looked down filled with guilt at what she had made the love of her life do to himself.
   "W-what h-happened?" I asked with confusion written on my face. "I thought I jumped why am I still alive?" I ask myself.
   "I'll go get the doctor!" My mom cries out as she bolts out the room.

Katsuka's POV
   I hear my name and jump startled by Izuku pulling me from my thoughts. "Look at me" he says with a gentle soothing voice. I look up slowly up seeing those gentle emerald eyes looking at me. "I-I-I'm s-s-sor.." before I could finish Izuku cuts me off.
   "Stop. It's not your fault." I hear him state in a gentle but stern voice. Tears start running down my cheeks as I look down. "B-but sniffle I sniffle I told you to sniffle do it.." I cry
   I feel his hand gentle touch mine. "Katsuka, I'm okay. That's all that matters." He gives me a close eye smile.

No POV
  The hospital room door bursts open, Inko followed by the doctor walk in. Izuku retracts his hand. Katsuka continues to look down as Izuku turns his head towards the door.
  "Welcome back Mr. Midoriya" the doctor says. "Welcome back?" Izuku questions with a confused look written on his face. "You've been asleep for about three days now" the doctor stated. "We were beginning to worry you might not wake up."
  "H-how?" Izuku questions the doctor. "How you survived that kind of fall is a miracle in of itself, but Mr. Midoriya." The doctor states concerning Inko and Izuku. "How long have you had a quirk?" The doctor questions.

Izuku's POV
"Q-quirk?" I question the doctor. "According to these X-rays we took after your fall your body was completely healed. You show no signs of major injury and even the minor injuries were completed healed."
   My mom begins to speak. " W-what do you mean doctor?" Questioned my mom. "Izuku was born quirkless there has to be some mistake." My mom states baffled by the word she just heard from the doctor.
  "It's no mistake ma'am your son indeed has a quirk, a powerful one at that." I suddenly feel something growing from my lower back.
  "W-WHAT'S HAPPENING!" I yell jumping out of my bed only to see three fox tails come out of my lower back. "EHHHHH!" My mom and I yell wide eyed.

No POV
"Well that's a surprise to me. You have a mutation quirk as well." The doctor said shocked at the events that just took place. The doctor turns around and heads towards the door "I'll go document this as well as look into what your quirk might be, please do inform me of any changes you'll be discharged tomorrow Mr. Midoriya." Inko bows and thanks the doctor.

Izuku's POV
   I stand in front of the mirror in my room looking at my tails. "T-they're so soft." I thought to myself awestruck at the fact I have grew three tails. "Mom I have a quirk!" I exclaim with much excitement as I turn to my mom. "M-mom? W-why are you crying?" My mom looks at me "I'm so happy for you Izuku." My mom says as she traps me into a bear hug. "C-can't b-breath" I squeak out. "I'm sorry Izuku, I'm just so happy for you." My mom say releasing me from the hug. Growl I look down a my stomach and turn red from embarrassment. "I'll go get you some food" before I could deject I hear her voice trailing off as she runs out my room.

Katsuka's POV
    "He.. has a.. quirk." I sat in the chair letting the information I just receive sink in. Tears begin to form in my eyes as I get up and run out the room with my head down. "K-KATSUKA!" I hear Izuku's voice yell my name off in the distance as a run down the long hospital corridor. "How long have you had your quirk" "your son indeed has a quirk." "Mom I have a quirk." Those words replayed in my head like a broken record. "Why can't I face him?" I asked myself looking for any answer to my me go back to that hospital. In the end I ended up running home with tears running down my face.

Izuku's POV
"K-Katsuka!" I yell to her but no avail she continues running down the long, cold hospital corridor. I sat on the bed thinking to myself "I hope she's okay." A second later I was torn from my deep thought from the sound of my door being abruptly opened. "My mom exhale I'm back and I brought you you're favorite." My mom says slightly out of breath. "Thank you mom I really appreciate it." I say as she walks over and puts the bowl of katsudon on the hospital table. "Where's Katsuka?" Questioned my mom as I pick of the bowl to begin eating. "She ran out the room but hasn't come back yet I think she went home." I explain to my mom about what happened.

No POV
   In Inko head
"I'll call Mitsuki later and ask her if she knows anything." Inko and Izuku continue to talk amongst themselves and they eat. They talked for hour Izuku even wrote about himself in his Hero Analysis Note Book Inko laughed at the action as Izuku was mumbling a storm at what his quirk could possibly be. Visiting hours ended and Inko left after giving Izuku a kiss on the forehead as he slept peacefully in his hospital bed. "Sleep tight my little kitsune." Inko whispers to herself

I'm sorry that this fanfic hasn't been very good up to the point I'm still working out the kinks in the plot considering it won't be cannon to the Anime. I also apologize because I won't be adding another chapter for a little while my work schedule is busy for the next two months but the good news is I'll be able to spend more time writing new and better chapters so get ready for multiple chapter being released Until next time
