Why in all of phyrria is there a third moon? It was the only thing Shadowspeaker thought when she went to the base of jade mountain, it couldn't have been time for the brightest night already, was it?

She kept thinking about what was happening at the sandwing Kingdom, it was the final moments of the war, she should have been there to witness it but she had another thing to worry about, her sister's egg.

Upon her untimely death by the volcano the egg was given to her because the father could not be found.

So she hid the egg near a cave entrance on the base of the jade mountain, now by light of the false bright night she hurried back to the cave, frantic on doing so, she could feel that it was time for it to hatch and she was not sure how she knew, but she did.

I hope it didn't hatch yet, oh moon's what if it did and is now wandering through the forest!? No.. Calm down, be rational arent you suppose to be the rational one? She kept bickering to herself but stopped when she got to the cave.

The cave entrance was entangled by moss and vines that grew from the trees that was surrounding it, but it wasn't enough to not stop the light of the moon's to shine through it and on the egg.

Shadowspeaker approached slowly, she was worried about how much it changed over the days when she visited it. Is it supposed to look like this? Did Fallenstar had an illness when she had the egg? Oh moons, did I do something wrong?

Eight days before the egg was like the others in the nursery, but when she checked again later that same day and it was still like that, but the next day it was dark purple, then two days after that it became a light purple but it had faint golden lines across it.

now the lines were so prominent that it looked liked it was golden with purple spirals out of it. I hope it's OK.
Shadowspeaker then lay down beside the egg and wrapped her tail around it. It doesn't matter if she comes out wrong, she's still my niece and I'll love her like she was my own.

She lay her head down and began to wonder how she knew it was going to be a girl then began to hum a song that her mother used to sing to her and her sister,

when she heard a faint cracking she got up and looked at the egg, the small
Cracks began to get bigger and bigger until its top half was off.

Inside was small dragonet, she was beautiful, her scales where the same colour as hers, a deep purple with black wings and tiny star like patterns across it.

but something was strange with her, the spines on her back and the teardrop like scales around her eyes were Amber gold in colour. Why does she have golden spines? Is she... No she isn't, is she? But then that would mean...

The little dragonet began to open her eyes an unfold her wings and began to cry.

Shadowspeaker hurriedly began to comfort the little dragonet by laying beside it and curling her body around her. "shhhh little one... Auntie Shadowspeaker is her, shhh... That's it
Quiet down now."
the little dragon began to look at her with her brownish eyes like she was able to understand what she was saying, hmmm...are newly hatched dragons supposed to be able to understand language? Wait.. Does she have the ability to read minds? If so, then it will be interesting to raise her then.

She chuckles at the thought of raising her, Shadowspeaker the one who refused to even think about the males, who would rather spend her time with the other females and flirt with them, raising an egg.

"Well this shall be an exciting experience for the both of us, welcome to the world Pandora" remembering the name from a scroll she found in a ruined library near the scorpion den "and welcome to my life."
