Latvia shakes entering Lithuania's room. Lithuania looked up as Latvia entered his room "Latvia? are you okay?" Latvia continues to shake not replying just yet. Lithuania stood up and walked over to Latvia "Is it Russia? What did he do..." Lithuania asked while hugging Latvia in an attempt to calm him. Latvia stammers out "h-he went insane....." calming down slightly, shaking less. Lithuania pulled back, a horrified look on his face. "He didn't hurt you did he?!" Latvia shook his head "N-no he returned t-to sanity before he harmed m-me." Lithuania sighed "Good. Tell me exactly what you saw and what happened before and during his state." Latvia stammered "H-he was acting normal then he began l-laughing and grabbed his pipe. He said I n-neede to be punished. I ran and he chased after m-me, tackled me then he raised his p-pipe but before he hit me. H-he returned to normal" Lithuania had begun to shake slightly. " I think that you should know why we are so scared of him..." Latvia looked at Lithuania confusedly "o-okay..?" Lithuania Turned around, now shaking violently. "look at my back. He hasn't hurt you because you are so young." Latvia looked at Lithuania still confused but lowered his gaze on Lithuania's back seeing the scars. Lithuania looked at the ground awaiting Latvia's reaction. Latvia began shaking again, after looking at the scars. Latvia turns his head not wanting to look at the scars anymore.

Lithuania turns around " Russia has done the same to Estonia. Russia is not safe, nor is he sane. You must accept that he can hurt you. You must be careful." Lithuania hugged Latvia once again, mumbling encouraging words. "w-why would he hurt u-us?" Latvia asks Lithuania while returning the hug. Lithuania holds Latvia tighter "He doesn't know any different. I'm not sure how much of his history you know, but he was abused and starved his entire childhood. He simply couldn't handle what happened to him, and so he lost his sanity...." Latvia adds "B-but he seems normal.." Lithuania rubs Latvia's back soothingly "I know. But he has learned to hide it. Have you noticed how childish he acts?" Latvia nods "y-yes I have noticed. W-why?" Lithuania sighs "It's a side effect. He couldn't handle it as a child, so he got stuck in that mindset. He never removes his scarf. I have no idea why, but I doubt that it's good." Latvia lets out some air now understanding better.
